Well history happened last night. Thats right. The Houston Astros won their first ever world series. They are champions of the world. And the party has only just begun in Texas.
You know the weird thing, for the past 60 years or so, ever since the Astros started they have always been a joke of a team. Sort of like how I have been a joke in SFT. But all that changed last night. The Astros shocked the supposed best team in baseball the Los Angeles Dodgers. And all that bad history went away in 9 innings. And now I am hoping for that same type of magic from last night.
I hope by next Titans to be the one who is making history. For too long I have been the one overlooked, not taken seriously, discarded. But that is about to change. I take on Lucas Balkan next week and I think now my time has come. I think the time is right for me to be world champion.
But thats not to take anything away from Lucas. Lucas I remember when you first came to SFT. You sent me a note back then, do you remember? You were very kind, you were one of the few people that actually thought I had some talent. That with a little work that I could move on to the next stage. I never forgot your words of encouragement, and I think a lot has to do with you. How you went out of your way to give a lower tier wrestler a bit of encouragement. So Lucas thank you. And do not think that I have forgotten your kindness.
A lot of people will not see that about you. They will see only what you allow them to see. The ruthless side of yourself. You present a hard man, a man who shows no pity and expects none in return. You are the epitomy of all business. But I know there is more to you than meets the eye.
You have love. Maybe not for your fellow man. But love for the game, love for the sport. Love for the life you wish you had led instead of the one handed to you. You are a man who was made into what you are today. But we are all victims of our circumstance. Do not use your past as a way to continue down the path you are on today. You are better than that Lucas, I know you are, so prove it.
For all my words and all my laughs. Deep down I know I am not as good as you. But you know what, every now and then things happen that arent supposed to happen. Thats life. And life is full of surprises.
Last night the Astros shocked the Dodgers, shocked baseball, and shocked the world. I hope lightning can strike twice in Texas and give me that final push to where I want to be. And I am sorry that this has to happen against you Lucas. Trust me I didnt want it this way. But after everything, I think its fitting you and I should square off in a few days and if I win I know you will congratulate me and if I lose as most expect I know I lost to a better man and a better wrestler. Thank you for everything Lucas.
Goodluck on Titans.
