The scene is Oklahoma, at Jack’s ranch. Its a bit cold, mornings always rise up with ice which melts by mid morning. There is not much to do around here in winter, but there is always things to fix, animals to feed and whatnot. He keeps busy, always busy.
Jack: Well Christmas is up on us. Everywhere you see there is Christmas trees, and lights. The malls and stores are all busy and full. Lines everywhere. I don’t understand why everyone waits till the last minute but thats just da way it always is, every year, even with the virus looming over us, like a plague and yet it doesn’t stop people from going out. So many people have gotten sick and worse so many have died from it and its as if no one cares or no one pays attention, that is until they get sick or worse and by then its too late.
And I know lots of wrestlers are a bit upset at having Titans right after Christmas day, I know it messes up a lot of peoples plans for the holidays and being with family and friends. And I totally get that and I understand. I can see where they are coming from. But for me, I kind of like it. Things are slow and this gives me something to do and something to focus on. Christmas can be a bit weird for me, it seems kind of incomplete with my stepfather gone. I miss him, Shadow was one of a kind and I loved him dearly and miss him so much, even more come the holidays. And I am not alone. I know Harold has a tough time with the holidays too. So he throws himself into his work. As you can see by the work he does in and for SFT and elsewhere. And thats how it is for so many people all over the world. Thats life, right?
So Titans for me will be a welcomed thing. Get my mind offa things and you know. But this Titans is special, not only will it be a christmas edition, it also has me defending my world title against not just one person but two. First up is Louis Cypher, who is currently our IC champion. He has held it for some time and is #1 for my title, so he has earned it. Louis is a very complicated person. He is dark, some might say even evil. But me, I don’t think anyone is really evil, or all evil. No matter what he says and thinks. Now he will argue otherwise, but deep down I think he is an alright fella. I wont go so far as ta say he’s nice or saintly, not even close but he’s not all bad. There are a few sides of him that he keeps ta himself and I think he just likes ta hide that. It defeats his self image. Now just cause I think he’s not all bad does not mean I will take it easy on him. No way, no how. This is my world title and I mean to keep it.
Next is Travis Deacon Hall, who just defeated Emerson Embry for the HC title. That in of itself is impressive. Emerson is no pushover and is always a worthy opponent for any and all titles. So congrats to Travis, and now he’s right in the thick of things. Already has a match to try and take my world title. But Travis has been a bit inconsistent as of late. He shows up here and there, and I think if he were more consistent he’d be on top every week, no doubt about it. He has the talent, the speed, the strength, he’s young but already a vet. He is the total package and I am not sure if I should be more worried about him than Louis. But I am gonna go about this match as if both are the main threats, which they really are. Now Travis as much as I respect you. Respect only goes so far. You want this title, you have to earn it, and you will have to take it from me, and pry it from my hands. Ya hear me? I hope you do. I hope Cypher hears me too.
Well I think that is all I have to say about the match. I hope everyone in SFT and all of its fans all over the world have a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Years!
