We see Emerson at home watching a dvd. Its some Justice League cartoon. He seems to be enjoying it.
A friend lent me this dvd because he thought my son might like it. But I have to watch it first, a lot of these DC stuff has some content that is a little more mature. Sometimes some of these arent suitable for young kids, so I wanted to check it out first before I let him watch it. But so far it seems that it will be ok. I also borrow some old comics from him because my son likes them and I think it helps him with his reading and comprehension. I try not to coddle him too much and I want him to be able to be like any other kid. He will be adult one day and I wont be around so I am preparing him for the life he will have.
I worry a lot about him. That worry never goes away, and as a parent I will always worry about him whether he’s 2 years old or 20 years old. Right now he is about to turn 7. And I have to start planning for his birthday very soon. Its tough, since Christmas is almost here and so I gotta plan for his Christmas presents and for his birthday presents. Money is tight. But a lot of americans are in the same boat. But I will make do. I always do.
This is what it is to be a parent. To be an adult. To be a man. We do what I have to do for me and mine. And speaking of what needs to be done. I have a match on the next Titans. I will be defending my HC title against the one and only Travis Deacon Hall. I havent seen much of him around lately. And I wonder if he just stopped caring or does he not care about his duties? Who knows. Only he can answer those questions. But as for me. I care. For me every match I have is my first match. My final match. Every match I think of, as if it were a world title match. I am a man. And I take care of business. And on Titans I am gonna take care of Travis. Wrap him up in christmas paper and ship him out to wherever he came from. Hahaha. Hohohoho. And to everyone a happy Christmas.
