Its a Tuesday. Nothing very special about Tuesdays. People are happy that Monday is gone and finished but Tuesday just reminds us how far away we are from the weekend. Though weekends are nothing special for me, but for a kid? A kid lives for the weekend. A chance to get away from school. To get away from homework. To relax and enjoy two days off without having to worry about school and grades.
“Well here I am folks. Getting ready for nothing. That is right nothing. A friend of mine is making a turkey and invited my son and I over. Which we accepted. Who can say no to turkey? Not I that is for sure.
Some people think the holidays are stressful. And I am sure they can be. But for some of us, for most of us. The holidays are just another day. A day to eat, a day to get a day off and a day to watch sports. There are lots of good games over the holidays. NFL, NBA, College football, college basketball. Oh you better believe there is a lot of sports on the tv.”
Emersom sits down on his kitchen table and starts going over all the mail he got over the last week.
“Now lets get to Titans. On this upcoming Titans I will be involved in a triple threat for the SFT Heavyweight Title of the world. My opponents will be Louis Cypher and Jack Jones. Now both men are great wrestlers. Both have talent beyond belief. And I guess this match has been building up for some time now. And I know with the holidays coming everyone is all over the place. Being pulled that way,this way and whatever way. But we are wrestlers and we have our duty to the fans. So I will not fail them. I will get to the ring and do my best, and when the dust settles I hope to be standing victorious with the SFT world title around my waist.”
Emerson throws away most of the mail,which is either junk mail or bills.
“I hate getting mail, theres never any good news in the mail. Just like when I watch the news on TV. Its always just bad news. Kinda depressing.”
Well that is all I have to say for today. Goodluck on Titans to us all. And lets have a happy Thanksgiving.
