Jack is at his home halfway through his day of work on his ranch. He’s finished feeding the animals and is now mowing the lawn. Halfway through he takes a break.
Jack: Man its mid October and its still so very hot. Summer does not seem to go away. That’s how it is in the south. Always. But all and all its not a bad day by any means. (He wipes the sweat from his forehead with a white handkerchief that he always carries with him)
Jack: “Well Em, time is fast approaching, and soon we will be on the biggest stage in the world in front of thousands of fans and millions more fans around the world. It’s what we as wrestlers live for, that type of atmosphere, that type of opportunity to shine bright, and shine we will. I think Harold could not have planned this any better, it will be awesome, you can take dat to da bank. Yes sir. And you were right about those of us who have been here since forever. And yes Shadow would be proud of us, and we are all proud of you too Emerson, he would love how well you have come. You represent yourself at a high level, and you represent SFT in the best of ways. You are world class all the way. And you are a testament to all men and all wrestlers. So thank you Emerson for who you are and all that you have done and still do for us and SFT.”
Jack: But right now Em I am the World Champion, and right now I am the one leading SFT. Now with all the talent we have here, that can change in the blink of an eye. Everyone here has the ability to win this title at any time. But right now its me who holds it. Its me leading us. And honestly if I lose to you I wont be too disappointed. But I don’t plan to lose it anytime soon. Just letting you know.
Jack smiles.
