We see Jack Jones in his old Chevy pickup driving through his ranch property. He is checking the gates make sure they are all in tact and sturdy. Got to make sure the livestock do not get out. He also makes sure that there are no coyotes or anything that might pose anything to the cattle and horses and sheep.
As he drives around he sees a post where the barb wire is leaning towards the ground. He stops his truck and gets out, he gets a shovel from the bed of the truck and starts digging around it to start to fix it.
As he is digging the faulty post/wood branch he starts to talk.
“It seems I have been doing a lot of this lately, fixing things that are broken or about to be broken. But that's just how it is on a ranch, there is always something to do. There is always work to be done. Always.”
Jack finishes fixing the post/gate. And puts the shovel back in his truck.
“Anyway so now its world title time and I have a shot at the title and the champion. That being the one and only Emerson Embry. Emerson you and I go way back. And I consider you a friend, and most of all I have nothing but the highest respect for you. Not only are you a great champion and wrestler but you are a good person. A downright good man and there are not a lot of people in this world that are like you. And I say that with the highest of esteem. I do not know of anyone that would look down on you for any reason. You try hard, you do your best and you never complain. That is a rare thing indeed. But you know business is business and we both have to do what we need to do for ourselves, for our families for SFT and for the fans. And everyone who is in SFT right now does great work. I say that from the heart and sometimes it feels like we are always trying to fix something that is broken with SFT or in SFT.”
Jack smiles.
“But fix it we do, help it we do, and protect it we do. Just like I just fixed this gate. So Emerson thank you for this shot. Thank you to Harold for the shot. And well, goodluck to you at Titans and in your future. I will be ecstatic if I win, but I wont be angry if I don't. Because either way SFT will be in good hands.”
Jack gets in his truck and drives away.
