We see Emerson by his locker at the local gym. He is polishing his world title. After a momnet he puts it in his locker.
Emerson: I got to take care of that this time around. And not be so gung ho about stuff. Sometimes I tend to forget when I am holding any title and I end up losing it. So that’s not gonna happen this time around. It’s funny how we tend to forget the important things. I forget when its time to change the oil in my car. I forget to check the water levels in my car. When to change the air filter in my car and in my apartment. I forget to buy milk, which my son quickly reminds me and I go back out and get it. I also tend to forget to do my taxes, but that one is on purpose. Those 1000 dollars come in handy and I try to put it off as long as I can, the longer I put it off the longer I will have money. If I rush out the day I get my W2s like so many I’ll end up spending the money as soon as I get it,so yeah I put that off. And Its good that I do.
Speaking of good, its good to have Jack Jones coming around again. He’s finally starting to put Candace behind him and starting to move on a little with his life. Good for you Jack. You were too good for her anyway. Deep down I think she knew it too, and by leaving or being taken, she freed you. And thats probably the nicest thing she ever did in her life. For once did something for someone else. One last gesture that finally got something good out of her. Finally.
But now we are forced to face each other Titans in a non title match. I guess a bit of a breather for us both. But more for me than you I am sure. I guess Harold doesnt want me possibly losing the title so soon? I mean we were left without a world champion for quite a while.
But who knows really. Harold never pops his head out of his hot cheetos bag long enough for us to really know what he might or might not be thinking.

So when I won the world title. Harold gave me a full years membership to this gym. I was quite happy,though I think I would of prefferred a 100 dollar gift certificate to some fast food place, but oh well, its the thought that counts.
