We see Emerson packing his bags getting ready for the trip to Mexico City, he’ll be leaving monday night and the trip should not be a long one. He kind of likes flying. In his mind he likes to play a little game. He likes to try and make up backstories for each person on the plane. He imagines where they are from and why they are making the trip to Mexico city, now with hispanic people its easy, they are either from there or going to visit family there. Its the others he has more fun with.
There is a chinese man on the plane, and he imagines that the man is a businessman probably for some kind of company looking to trade or make business out there. There is a white male who speaks english so he imagines he too is a businessman or perhaps he has a love interest in Mexico that he is going to see. The man might be thinking long distance relationships are hard, but he thinks to himself that the woman he is going to see is worth it.
There are others on the plane, a man from Japan and I imagine he too is a businessman going to make deal for his car company to put a factory in Mexico. There is a young black teenage girl alone and I think she is part of a musical group perhaps? Going out there for a tour?
There is a older man in his 70s who I hear spoke english so for him it was kind of tough. All I can think of maybe he’s going on vacation? Or maybe he retired and had moved down to mexico where the cost of life was more expensive.
Suffice to say this game took up most of my time and helped pass the time. And when I was tired or done I always packed a book to read on the plane incase I get bored. Today I am reading The Dark Tower: The Drawing of the Two. I read the first book a few months ago and I thought it was good, now I am reading the 2nd in the series and so far its been enjoyable.
My mind wanders over to Travis Deacon Hall. He has a perfect opportunity right now and he has not taken advantage of it yet. And I dont understand why? The end goal is within his reach and he’s playing it cool? Seriously? You will not be able to win the world title at the last ditch effort, not even right before the clock strikes twelve. By then it’ll be too late. Time is ticking away, tick tock Travis, tick tock.
My mind is focused on the task ahead. And god willing I will emerge victorious on Tuesday Titans. But nothing is ever for certain. Nothing is set in stone. Anything can happen, and history teaches us that all that has been will be, but that there are always factors that may change things. But then there is the other lesson history has taught us and that is that history repeats itself. I have held the world title before and you Travis have not. Lets see if history is right for me? I hope so hahahaha
