We see Emerson walking into a Jack in the Box. There is maybe 2 people inside and the wait for drive through is very long. She he decided to walk in and just order at the counter and take it home.
He is greeted by a young lady not much older than 19 or 20. She takes his order and in less than 5 minutes he is back in his car with his food and on his way home.
“I dont particularly like the burgers from Jack but every other month I get coupons in the mail and they are pretty good, worth using. Like the one I used right now was 2 sourdough burgers for 5 bucks. And so I used it and now have lunch for me and my son. I used to think coupons were for housewives and older people. But now I realize that coupons are a great way of saving money, and if I was smart I would take advantage of them, and I am not the sharpest apple on the tree but even I learned somethings are worth using. So now I use coupons that I get from other places like Dominos pizza, Churchs chicken, burger king, Subway, and others.”
Emerson gets to his apartment building and parks his car.
“So now I have to be smarter in other aspects of my life. Including my upcoming match on Titans against Travis Deacon Hall. The man has climbed the ladder and holds 2 out of 3 titles in SFT. The HC and IC titles respectively. The man is on fire, what else can you really say about him right now? And he has the chance to win the world title and possibly hold all of the SFT titles at one time. I dont know if anyone has ever accomplished that before or not, but if it has ever happened it was well before my time, I would have to ask Harold, he would now. Regardless of that Travis has been impressive to say the least.”
Emerson gets out of his car and enters the building. As he walks up the stairs he finds his apartment keys and unlocks the door and enters.
“Now he has to know that I have held every title at one point or another during my tenure. So I will not let him just stroll himself into the world title. He is gonna have to earn it. Just like everyone else whose ever held a title. And so far he’s earned both his titles beating some very talented people. Now the question is can he defeat me and complete the trifecta? We will both find out come Tuesday Night Titans 111. Now we’ll be in another country. We will be in Mexico City, which is fitting, it is after all the world title and the world title means the whole planet not just the US. It’ll be interesting and perhaps dare I say, fun?”
Emerson puts his bag of burgers on the table. He lets his sister know he’s home so she can go home as well. She took care of his son most of the day. But he is home now. He had asked her if she wanted a burger as well but she had told him no, she was tired of eating burgers.
“So Travis, you and I have a date on Tuesday. And well for now this is all I have to say. But I will speak up once more before our match, so be ready. Cause I will be ready. I will try my best, you should know that by now. You should know that about me already, well at least I hope you do. I guess we will find out on Titans?”
