WINNER BY PINFALL: TWILIGHT
TRAVIS DEACON HALL VS JACK JONES
STANDARD MATCH
STANDARD MATCH
Both men are in the ring.
At the sound of the bell, Jack Jones comes charging out of the corner toward Travis, who easily picks him up and puts him to the mat with a Belly to Belly Suplex. This gives him the advantage and allows him to control the match for the next few minutes. He continues to show off his power with such moves as the Gorilla Press Slam as well as a Stalling Vertical Suplex. After Jack Jones kicks out of a pinfall attempt, he pulls him from the mat and connects with a dropkick, but he rolls to the outside trying to buy himself a bit of time. Jack’s slow to get up. But when he does Travis is holding the ropes to invite him back in the ring for more. However, Jack doesn’t make a move.
JC: Jack wants no part of Travis right now. Can’t say that I blame him.
RW: He is just taking a moment to regroup.
Travis doesn’t seem to like that. The longer he’s out there, the more annoyed he gets. Eventually he follows him out and gives chase around the ring. Once he dives back into the squared circle, Travis goes to reenter the ring as well. But before he can, Jack runs in and sends him flying into the barricade with a baseball slide. He then goes out to toss him back in the ring.
This gives Jack the chance to show us his skills. He goes right to work on Travis as the match continues. After putting him to the mat with an elbow, Jack goes for a cover. After Travis kicks out, Jack keeps the pressure on with a Codebreaker and Frog Splash. He then begins to measure him up. Once Travis staggers to his feet and turns in his direction, he comes at him looking for the lariat. But Travis dodges it and runs into the ropes. As he comes off them, he takes him down with a spear before showboating to the crowd.
JC: Probably not wise for Travis to be wasting valuable time here.
RW: Jack doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
He delivers a knee drop for good measuring before picking him off the mat and tossing him over his shoulder. As Travis starts to run for a powerslam, Jack rakes his eyes and pushes him in the corner as he jumps down to his feet. Travis collides with the turnbuckles before stumbling out of the corner where Jack is seen coming at him with another lariat. He is in mid spin as Travis takes him down with a clothesline. Once he pulls him up from the mat, Travis whips Jack into the ropes. As he comes off them, he picks him up into the air and plants him to the mat with the Deacon Bomb.
Once he’s flat out on the mat, Travis makes the cover and picks up the 1...2...3!
As his music hits again, Travis gets to his feet and has his arm raised in victory.
