Emerson is seen at the local catholic church near his home. It is a sunny Friday afternoon and he is sitting towards the back of the church. Not many people in there. A handful at most.
I guess most people go to church on Sundays like most of the world. Sunday mass. But I have never really been a very religious person. I believe in God and I was raised Catholic but I really don’t go to church very often. Sad to say most of the times that I do go is for weddings or funerals and lately its been mostly funerals.
Emerson says a prayer then stands up and walks outside. The sun is starting to set. The weekend is upon us already as traffic is now starting to pick up.
“So Jude is back in SFT, this time for a while it would seem. Good. I am very glad to see him back in the ring. Good news for him. Good news for SFT. But bad news for me. Lets be honest shall we? He is out of my league, so is Redd, so are most people in SFT. But I have faced wrestlers out of my league before and beaten some of them if not most. So I am not intimidated by him at all. So Jude you should know that. And I am sure you already do know that. As you know me. I will not back down. I will not run or hide. I will show up on Titans and we will give the fans a fantastic match. That I can promise you and all the SFT fans around the world. They will not be disappointed with our match.”
Emerson starts walking to his car.
“Last thing I want to say is that I too have nothing but the utmost respect for you. And really that is all I have to say about that. See you on Tuesday.”
Emerson gets in his car and drives away.
Fade to black.
