The year is 5007 BC. We are living in what is now China. We live by the Huang He (The yellow river). We have a small hut near the river, we catch and sell/trade fish, eel, turtles, and frogs. All are well sought after since the great ocean is so far away. My mother also has a small garden where she grows onions and tomatoes which she also trades. We do well, we live well, and we are never hungry, which in that day was all you needed.
I was 14 at the time. And I loved to sit at the river and throw a line to see what I could catch. Mostly we used nets but when we had a little time to ourselves we used our homemade fishing line. It was fun for me. Mostly I would use tiny frogs as bait and it did well at times. But my dream was of going out into the ocean and being a full time seaman, a fisherman. I had heard stories of 1 foot sized shrimp, and squid and octopus that were 15 feet long. Such wonders and marvels that the ocean must hide beneath its waters. I wanted to explore. But that was not meant to be my life. We had little but we had. And that was enough for others to want what we had. Marauders came one night, raided us and others places near us. We were so apart from each other there was no way to warn others.
Life was interrupted and I was in Jeville once more. Trapped in a place I did not want to be. But that was my curse, my life. And so that is how it was and how it still is.
So that takes me to this life, to this year, to this match in SFT. I have Jamo coming up, and it will be for my hc title. Yes that's right somehow I am again the HC champion. Go figure.
So what can I say about Jamo I haven't said before? Lets start about what I do know about him. He has held every title in SFT. Check. His specialty is hardcore matches. Check. So this match should be right up his wheelhouse. He loves these type of matches and he lives for them. Check. He has had a rough life from what little I can tell. Check. He’s a bit weird, but aren't we all? Check. And he is willing to do whatever it takes in these types of matches. Check. Pain and more pain is just what he likes. Check.
Ok did I miss anything? I do not think so. Jamo has seen a second life. He seems more focused and invigorated. And that's good for him but bad luck for me and anyone else he comes up against. And that is no lie.
But I have lived many lives. All short but I hope by now I have learned a few lessons. And the lesson is you never quite know how things will go. No matter how much you plan or hope, or dream. Things never really come out how we hope. A lesson I have learned very well. In this life, in my past lives and in Jeville.
What else can I say? Nothing more. No more.
