For Jamo.
Traveling in a fried-out Kombi
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said:
Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder

You better run, you better take cover.
That is about the most popular song I know from the most popular Austrailian band I know. They were huge in the 80s and had several hits. I remember singing along and reading the lyrics on the inside of cassette tapes. I kind of miss those days. Those early days where the world seemed so innocent. I know it wasnt but that is how it felt.
Today I went to a lil cafe around the corner, ordered breakfast and they brought my eggs and bacon out and my toast they asked if I wanted strawberry Jam or grape Jamo, and I thought of Jamo right there.
I go by and visit a friend and read an old batman comic and when batman is punching the evil clown it says on the page, Jamo! And I smiled and thought oh well Jamo is everywhere today.
I go home and on the radio I hear someone saying the police jammed him up. And again another version of Jamo shows up. He’s everywhere today. Hahaha. Then as I was getting home I open my car door and jam my thumb against the steering wheel! It hurt a lot I thought I had broken it or dislocated it but after a while the pain subsided.
I get inside my house and soon my son arrives from school and wants to watch some dvd cartoon and the old dvd gets jammed in the dvd player. Oh great. Jamo strikes again. Its just one of those odd days where everything is coming out Jamo. I gotta smile at that, you just have to sometimes.
I know this sounds corny but sometimes life throws lemons at you and you got to make lemonade. Or in my case life throughs me Jamo, Jams and Jammings and I got to smile and get past it. For instance in the morning I put the jam on my toast. Then the guy on the radio knew he was breaking the law so yeah of course he’s gonna get jammed. What do you expect, we follow the law or else you have to get jammed, how else will you learn. The law is there to protect us not jam us. And lastly I jammed my thumb. And so I waited and it went away. Thats why god gave us two thumbs and 8 fingers we can use the others hahaha.
Ok enough Jamming around, I got to get going. Things to do and people to upset. ha.
