Cypher is at his home. Early morning he has some classical music playing as he appears to be dusting his furniture and tables and such. He is humming along with the music.
Is there anything better than a little Beethoven or Back early in the morning? Just puts you in a good mood or at least it does me. Hahaha. I like dusting the old fashioned way. Just cleaning in general is good. You get all the dust off tables and appliances, just flies off and stays in the air for a moment before coming down to the ground. And after you are all done everything is nice and clean and tidy. A clean house is a good house. My mama always taught me that idle hands are the devils workshop.
(He smiles at the camera)
How right she was. She has no idea how right she was. But my hands did not have to be idle in order for me to become what I am.
And what I am is pure unadulterated blackness. Bleakness. Evil. Call me what you want, there is no light in me. At least not anymore.
To be honest I have no clue what this Gold Rush event is about or how it will work. I doubt anyone does. So we’re left in the dark going to the ring and not really knowing what to expect nor what we should do.
Soooo I will do what I always do. I will clean house. I will kick some butt and clean house. And when its all over the dust settles I will have some gold around my waist. Of that I am sure.
Seems everyone in SFT is gonna wait till the last minute to cut a promo. Seems whoever thought of this event didnt really think that part through. But I do not need to wait till the last minute and hope to outdo them. A real champion, a real leader, does not wait. He shows the hell up first and shows the way. Everyone who waits till the last day, is no champion in my eyes. Just a smarty pants who rather play chess then actually do some real honest work. If you are the type that has to wait till everyone shows their cards. Yeah you might be playing the smart way, but you aint nothing then. Nothing!
WE are wrestlers. And if you are that guy in a battle royal who sits on the outside till everyone gets tired and eliminated then jumps in the ring at the last moment to win? Yeah smart, but aint no one have any respect for. Not a single person in the ring who did it the right way will respect you. Not a single person backstage will respect you. And not one fan watching will respect you.
So to all you damn procrastinators I dont want to hear excuses backstage. This is what it is. Pull up your big boy pants or big girl pants and actually for once show that you are worth that gold around your wastes. And dont just be a damn waste.
