Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I'm found.
Was blind but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We see Twilight walking around the pathway of a park, used by many runners and power walkers or people just looking for nice cardio. Today though a mother and child catches his eye. The mom is jogging with her infant son on her back, like a backpack. The baby has a pacifier in his mouth and appears to sleeping. She jogs past him. Twilight is only walking, today wasn’t so much about exercise as it was about spending some time outside.
She passes him twice now and she smiles as she passes him. She stops a few steps away from him, and turns back to look at him.
“I know who you are, you're famous”
Twilight: Not quite.
Woman: My name is Kim.
Twilight: Pleased to meet you Kim. And your passenger?
Kim: Thats Noah. He falls asleep the moment I get going. He likes the motion.
Twilight: I bet. Does he ever drop his pacifier?
Kim: Are you kidding me? He would sooner discard me his own mom than that pacifier.
Twilight: Loves it that much?
Kim: More than I loved his father.
Twilight: loved?
Kim smiles, “yes loved, we're done now. Why? You want to take his place as Daddy?
(I don’t know what to say)
Kim: relax, im only joking, no one wants to get saddled with a wife and child on their first date?
Twilight: First date?
Kim: Yes you're taking me to the movies tomorrow night, picking me up at 6.
Twilight: And Noah?
Kim: Noah will be just fine with his grandma
Kim writes her name, phone, and address on a piece of paper and hands it to him. She jogs away.
Twilight: What? What just happened?
He shakes his head all the while smiling.
Twilight: now that right there was amazing, truly amazing. Almost as good as the song. But one thing that isn’t amazing is Mr. Amazing. Been waiting better part of the week and still no sign of him. Where you at? Im waitingggggggggggggggggg.
