OOC: This RP is for the Royal Rumble Title Match.
The scene opens up outside of the New York Hilton Midtown as Jackson Kent has just arrived. As he sits in the car for a moment before getting out he checks his cell phone. Jackson sees he has a text message, as he opens it he sees it's from his friend and personal trainer Janie Carver.
The text says, "See you at the gym located downstairs in the hotel. Be there in an hour and get ready to work up a good sweat!"
Jackson smiles, then he puts his cellphone back into his travel bag. Then he heads into the hotel, checks in with reception, then goes upstairs to his room. Once inside, he takes off his jacket and starts to unpack a few things. He starts to mumble to himself some words of confidence.
Jackson Kent: The Royal Rumble match is soon upon us and I couldn't be more ready. Time to show everyone that I am the one who deserves to be at the top of the SFT mountain. I have the opportunity to become the top guy in the company, and there is no way I'm going to mess this up. I cannot fail. I will not fail.
After he is done unpacking, he goes out onto the balcony and takes in an aerial view of New York City. He takes a deep breath.
Jackson Kent: Coming back to SFT was the best thing that ever could have happened to me at this point in my career. This is something so meaningful. The chance to come back and make an impact that no one will ever forget. I have the opportunity to be the BEST in this company, and even though there will be other competitors in this Royal Rumble match who are tough competitors, I have to prove to all of them that I am tougher than they could ever be. Because by doing that, that is the only way I will truly earn the right to hold that championship.
Jackson Kent: I have held the SFT Uncensored Championship and it was a title I was proud to have won. It made them all stand up and take notice of me, Jackson Kent. It was at that moment when I won that title that everyone knew I was a force to be reckoned with in that ring. Back then, it was a time of utter chaos in the company. But I survived through it all, and now, I have found my way back home to SFT. I was overjoyed to hear the news that it was back! That is was once again ALIVE and doing well!
Next to Jackson is a few lounge chairs, so he takes a seat on one of them, then opens his bottle of water he brought out to the balcony with him and takes a few drinks from it. He continues to voice the many thoughts going through his head about this upcoming Royal Rumble match.
Jackson Kent: I've got the best trainer in Janie Carver. She knows her stuff and that is how I know for a fact that I will be more than ready both mentally and physically to beat the shit out of every single guy who decides to enter into this match. Janie is a hard trainer and knows no mercy when it comes to training me in the gym to get me to the psychological level I need to be at for a title match like this. But I never buckle under pressure. I THRIVE ON IT. I will go through every man in this Rumble Match and I will be the one walking out with not only the victory, but with the championship around my waist.
Jackson Kent: Don't believe me? Then see for yourselves at Everything Ends when I become the SFT World Champion. Life truly is sweet....isn't it?
