When I was 14 years old I went to my very first rock concert, I had been to some classical music concerts with my school but I really do not count that. Anyway when I was 14 my friends and I went to see a band called Jetboy. We were all very excited since we had never been. Tickets were 10 dollars which by todays standers would be like 50 bucks. Anyway we go, we stand in line for an hour and finally get in. And you could literally taste the adrenaline and electricity in the air. It was intense to say the least.
I got to meet a lot of different people that I would of never have met otherwise. And after a half hour or so inside the lights begin to dim and the whole crowd roars in unison. The opening band begins and everyone just jumps up. Everyone is jumping and yelling and screaming. It was chaotic. It was beautiful. By the time the first band finished I was already pretty tired. I decided to rest through the 2nd band and we sat in the back eating frito pies and drinking sodas. Once the main band came on stage we followed a group of older guys who were just pushing and shoving their way to the front, we got really close, enough where I was able to catch a guitar pic.
Afer the concert we were all sort of deaf we all had a ringing in our ears and we were drenched in sweat from head to toe. We were walking home, and so were many people. Up ahead a fight broke up, 4 guys started to beat on two. We ran over, still high school mindset where we would gather around and yell fight fight fight. But after a few seconds it became evident the 4 guys were not satisfied with the two guys already on the floor bleeding. I looked at my friends pretty and like all true friends we could sort of read each others minds with just a look. My look said should we help? Their looks said hell no. I had a decision to make. I jumped in and pushed two of themoff the guys and yelled thats enough. They laughed and started to fight with me. I had always been a big guy, fat and strong. I was able to knee one of them and shoved another back hard enough, they told me this wasnt my fight and to step back. I told them enough was enough, and whatever they did they had paid the price, they looked down at the two guys pretty much knocked out and didnt say a word and they started to walk away.
My friends waited till they were 50 yards away till they approached me, the smiled and shook my hand and patted me on the back, they were saying stuff like Em the hero or Super Em, I guess thats where it all started with me. Well helped the two guys on their feet and I asked what that was about? The tall guy said his friend, which I just though of as the short guy, I am sure they told me their names but it was so long ago I don’t remember anymore. Anyway the short guy was friends with one of the four guys’ girlfriend, so they thought he was hitting on her so picked a fight, tall guy told me that short guy wasnt into girls and when they told that to the four guys that just made things worse. Seems no matter what the answer was, those two were going to get beat up, first for them thinking one was hitting on his gf then later on for the reason for liking guys instead of girls. Damned if you do damned if you dont.
Anyway that all has passed. My real point is the concert, when I step in the ring its like being at that first rock concert all over again. My adrenaline starts going, I feel that tinge of electricity in the air and I cant wait to be part of it. And just like that night that I fought, sometimes I win sometimes I lose but its always something special at least it is for me.
So that brings me to my opponent Reaper. Reaper you are a lot like me when I started. I can see you trying to get your bearings and try to improve but its slow going, right? The hard part is that sometimes it feels like you take one step forward and 5 steps backwards. Heres the thing Reaper, you need to try to make an effort to try more. And sometimes you do try and it shows sometimes we can see your talent and other times it just seems you rolled out of bed, said a few sentences and went back to sleep. That wont do you or this federation much. So snap into a slim jim and get going.
That brings me to the silent Jay Impact. I like your name, its sorta generic, you might call yourself Mike Handsome, Mike Awesome, how bout John Strongbone, or Jim Power, or or Burt Power, hahaha there are so many variations of cheesy names I ccould go on forever. Now do not get me wrong I am saying your name is cheesy not that you are cheesy. So please do not take too much offense. Well maybe take a little offense hahaha. Other than I dont know what to say about you? I mean I could say how you come from ICW but my mom taught me if I have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all. So that is what I will do.
I guess that is it for now.
