The scene is a livestock show in Dallas tx. Usually they will be held towards the end of summers but this winter has been usually warm so a winter one was setup. I have come here in hopes of trading some of my cows for a steer. A good steer fetches a pretty penny, because they cant mate and create new offspring. I am interested in a longhorn or possibly a Red Poll or a Red Angus. Either of those 3 would be ideal.
The world is full of cattle. They give us milk, and beef and while we could live without milk, life would be increasingly awful without beef. Imagine a world without hamburgers, steaks, fajitas. beef is life. And while vegans and vegetarians think life is better without meat. They are just mistaken. Plain and simple.
Life is full of simple pleasures. Eating is one of those in my humble opinion. So here I am in search of the future of my ranch. Instead of Livestock, I always call it Lifestock. That is exactly what it is life.
So I have Reaper coming up. And Reaper has become a featured face around here. Slowly but surely he is starting to improve. It took long enough. I thought he might never come along but I was wrong. And glad for it. But do not make the mistake of anything. He still has a long way to go. He will get up there again soon enough. But right now what is on his plate is a slice of beef called Jack Jones. And I am a tough chew. Heavy on the gristle, and the fat. But hey some people like that. Heck some cuts of steak are better with more fat, makes the steak juicier.
This world of ours is hard and all the political turmoil makes it a bit scarier than the old days. But when you sit down to a nice steak with some asparagus and a baked potato, whoa boy, aint nothing better. That is what puts a smile on my face, that is what makes happy.
I am a simple kind of guy. I dont need a lot of money, nor a fancy car or a big house. Just a full belly, and a nice sunset. A cold glass of lemonade on a warm sunny day or an iced tea. And once in a while a good movie on the old tv. What else can I ask for?
So Reaper you are getting a shot at My IC Title. Well good for you. But in this world and the next nothing comes easy, not comes free. You are gonna have to work hard if you want to take this title from me. You are gonna have to be better than you have been. Can you do that? Well can you? We will see if you can.
Each of us have to constantly prove ourselves each and every time we step into that ring. Same rule applies to you.
