There are places that I have been to that help me find my own way in the darkness. I have loved Tahiti and the Bahamas, places like Jamaica and Peru, places where Voodoo and black magic are prevalent. I have seen it myself, peoples eyes turning upside down, people blind who can see the smallest cricket by the fire. There are some really unexplainable things in this world. Trust me on that.
But of the most unexplainable things I can imagine is Emerson Embry. Never in my life have I met a man with such an outlook on life that it leaves me a bit breathless. Boy life has thrown nothing but curve-balls at you. Treated you like a old dirty place-mat. And yet there you are still holding vigil and still holding out hope that God will somehow come through for you. God has let you down your whole life, and you think things will change? They wont. Things wont ever change. God has no plan for you , he’s forgotten you. Time you forgot him.
You wished everyone a Merry Christmas including me. How sweet and I wish I could return the sentiment but honestly its just a useless holiday. Useless people with their holiday cheer singing and exchanging gifts while corporate America keeps getting fatter and fatter of idiotic people. Everyone buying and buying way beyond their means. And for what? For a good feeling for a day or two. Puhlease.
Emerson you have been one of the few guys that have actually spoken to me without disdain and hate. So I will this one time reciprocate. So let me clue you in on something. Christmas is a made up holiday. Christ was not even born on the 25th. Check that if you don't believe me. All Christmas is, is a made up Christian holiday and then later incorporated by business to leach every single last cent out of you and everyone else. By the time New years day rolls around 2/3 of America is flat broke or severely in debt. And by the time they are out of debt Christmas is back again. Its a vicious vicious cycle that will never end.
It will never end because people are so dumb. So take my advice on this. Say no to Christmas, say no to consumerism, say no to all that bs this world is pushing down your throats. And that is that, this’ll be the last time I will be civil with you and its not due to the stupid holidays its that you just never give up.
And me? I gave up long ago.
Call me the Grinch or Scrooge, it don’t matter, I am who I want to be.
