Sorry thats all I got. Fact is I didnt bother to view Rumpke’s promo, I kinda just fast forward through his stuff. Most of the time he’s got nothing to really say. So let me cut to the chase.
Rumpke you are a good wrestler, maybe even great. But you want to know why no one ever puts you in the same breath as most of the people who were once in the hall of fame? Its kinda of simple really. You are a paycheck wrestler, by that I mean when you are in the center of the ring you are on, you are going full blast and I dont think theres anyone that can beat you honestly one on one. Thing is, that’s all you are. You do not inspire anyone. I wont say you dont have heat its more that you lack it.
When I sit down and watch your promos I feel two things. Either boredom or pity. Its always the same thing with you just trash talking. And yeah you can back it up. But trash does not inspire people. No one looks up when you’re on tv everyone in the stands walks off to buy nachos or beer or whatever they want. No one records your matches on their dvrs. Yeah theres some people out there with your tshirts but few and far between. Thing is Rumpk you have nothing of value to say to anyone. Just blah blah blah, bad words, cuss words, blah blah blah, if I wanted to see SFT’s version of Stone Cold you would be it. But where is stone cold right now? In the woods alone and forgotten. Now I am not one put down selling your soul. Austin a good life got a pretty women, made money, got fame, hell I think you’re right up there with him.
But if you ask fans and reg people who their top three wrestlers of all time, no one and I mean no one will put that guy. Because at the end of the day if you dont inspire people. If you dont make people look up and take notice, then you are nothing at all. And Austin inspired no one, cept a few aholes here and there. Even the Rock was better, he was a better person, better wrestler, better career after wrestling. John Cena another good example. But when your career is over you are going straight to a bar and you’ll be buried there in that stool, forgotten and good reason.
You want people to look up from their cell phones then stop being so easily forgotten. Tell us something for the ages, tell me something that will make me go wow, tell me something that will spike my evil heart and say man that Rumpke has soul, has heart and I would go fight with him in any war. But, but thats not you is it Rumpke? Never has been. Never will be.
