Today is my 2nd favorite holiday. It is Halloween! I cant say enough about this holiday. We get to dress up or as is the case for me and my son we paint or faces (we just use my sisters makeup haha). We will paint up to look like guys from Kiss or something close to that (smile).
My favorite holiday is Christmas of course, all the decorations and the good cheer and good will. Makes any sour puss get into a good mood.
But right now its all about Halloween. So we are gonna paint up, grab some plastic bags and hit the neighborhoods. Me personally I like the little bags of popcorn that some places give out, don’t matter if its just reg popcorn or kettle corn or candy corn, its all good. My son though he likes the chocolate. Anything chocolate. Snickers, reeses, even milky way and 3 musketeers. Which those last two I think or nasty. I love Mars bars but those are hard to get on any given day much less Halloween.
Its a day and a night where we can to indulge in silly scary things. We get to be someone else for a day. A ghost or ghoul. A vampire or ninja. Gene Simmons or Rodney Dangerfield. It doesn't really matter as long as you have fun.
And fun is the key don't you know? Now Rumpke has gone on and on and quite frankly it gets to be a bit monotone. Its always the same thing. It always vulgarity and just low brow stuff. Come on man you are better than that. You are Rumpke. Last of the old school. Be better than the past, you are the last one standing. You stand for all those went before and do you think all those wrestlers stood in a ring or a bar and just blabbed on forever? No sir, not even close.
You got to give the fans something new. Something to gather behind and cheer for or boo. Not just holding a mic. Do you know what it means to do a shoot interview it means to get out of character and talk honestly and not in character. Look it up. So when you say shoot you yourself are saying to stop being in character and talk honestly and from the heart.
