Emerson is sitting at a corner booth inside Applebees restaurant.
He has a burger and a sald in front of him and a soda to drink.
“This is the first time I have been here, its nice. Really nice. Much more fancier than my regular place and by my regular place I mean McDonalds.”
Emerson takes a bite of his burger and smiles.
“So this is what adult food tastes like? Hahaha, not bad,not bad at all. So on Titans in a few weeks I am facing Rumpke again, this time in a bar room brawl. I dont think that is a particularly good place to have a match. Rumpke you do understand that children watch us, emulate us, want to be us, what kind of image are we protraying if we go to a bar? Believe it or not, when I was a little kid I was a hulkamaniac. I wanted to grow up and be strong and brave like hulk hogan. Made me want to be like him. Like it or not we are role models and if we protray someone bad, or angry, or a drinker, thats what some kids will think is the norm. It shouldnt be that way.”
Em take another bite of his burger and a huge drink of his soda.
This is the closest I want to be as far as a bar goes. I am not a drinker, I dont spend my weekends at such places nor would I ever want to. Not a lot of good samaritans are found in bars, just a lot of bottom of the barrel people. You and I had a conversation a while ago about being different, trying new things. But instead of listening to me you go back to the old ways. And I will repeat, its time to let the old ways die. Nothing good can come of the old ways, the old days. Just rehashing the past and there is no way of going back in time, no matter how much you’d like to.
So there you go Rumpke. How bout we change the venue to Six Flags over Texas? Or how bout here at Applebees, winner has to buy the other guy dinner? Id like that, cause win or lose I still win. If I win then I win a match against a big name, if I lose I get a nice steak dinner. So you see, win win. Hahaha What do you say Rumpke? Knowing you, you just want a bar room brawl because win or lose you’ll just want to stay there aftewards.
