It is 1599, my name is Seanu Avea, born in the clan Doir in the mountains of Ireland. We were herders. We lived there for centuries. And we had no hill songs. Our lives and our existence were short and harsh. We had a roof over our heads and food in our bellies and that was enough.
And unlike Cypher we did not use songs to convey our thoughts or hopes or prayers. I like the song you chose do not get me wrong but you chose an easy way out. Very little work, lots of input and if someone does not know the song they might think its your own words. So yay or you, and jeers for me it would seem.
But to me it doesnt matter. Its all same. I actually like music, privy to all types of course. My clan did not sing, nor rejoice in song but others did. Some even used song as they went into batte. Imagine being at the bottom of a hill and from the hill one thousand strong emerge singing their folk song, it could be quite the thing, and it was sure to bring a tinge of fear to those seeing those coming at them down a hill not running walking into the battle with that song on their breaths.
I saw it, I lived it. Music and songs can be quite a strength. I do not blame you for trying, I would of done it myself had I been on your end. But I am not. You are trying to win my world title and you come at me with a song from 30 years ago or longer and expect to win? Are you a child? Did your dark father not grant you the ability to be creative? Or does darkness and evil drain you of being able to think beyond your confines?
Whatever the case may be you need to try harder. You need to try more. Give it more than what you are giving it and you may just win the world title. But come at me as you just did and I will take that as a personal assault. And you dont want to make it personal with me, trust me on that Cypher.
As for now I will leave it as is. I will give you double the effort you give me. But for now this is all that you deserve and nothing more. Prove me wrong.
