Jack is seen in front of a fountain, one of those cheesy fountains you will see like at a mall where people go by and throw pennies into and make wishes.
Well the time has finally come for one of us to take the IC title from that jobber Jackson Kent. And as much as I respect Emerson, its got to be me. I believe to my core that I have the best chance to beat Jackson and be the next IC Champion. Now Emerson you seem to have the support of every fan at every venue, at every event. Nice going man but its not enough.
Its not enough for Reaper to be holding the world title with minimal efforts. Its not enough for Jackson only to show up to defend the title. And its not right people throwing pennies in here hoping to have a wish come true.
Wishes are not granted. Unfortunately life doesnt work that way. We only get what we want if we work hard for it. No one is going to give us anything for free. No one is going to give us an easy road and cheating only gets you so far before you are discovered.
Do the right thing, take care of your business. Work hard, play right, stay on the right path. If you do right by the world, the world will do right by you. But I dont think I have to remind you of that Em. You have always been a stand up guy. When you got robbed against Annika, you came back. You realized that some people will always be against you. There used to be people here that were like Rush Limbaugh, no matter what a democrat does, he’ll be against it, even when the people he supports are down right despicable. Thats how it was, you were judged by your allegiances, not by your talent. And to be honest you shouldnt of lost that match. Not by a long shot but she was a woman, people were enamored with her and that was it for you, your fate was sealed. Things are like that anymore luckily for us, those people have disappeared, dispersed and been forgotten. Rightfully so.
But that leaves you and me. So Emerson while I think the world of you. I think you and I have to fight it out, and may the best man win. That being me.
