The morning is cool. Its a slow day, people are tired from the week, most wishing it was Friday. Yearning for it. But not me. For me the weekends means spending some quality time with my son. Watching cartoons, going to the dollar movies. Just goofing off for the most part. Thats what fathers do with sons. Thats what I do.
Sure we may never be able to play catch or take him to little league games. But thats ok. I am greatful for what I have. And I have a lot. But there are people in the world who arent greatful.
Im talking to you Robert Saints. You are given a golden opportunity here and you waste it doing what? Eating BBQ Pizza? Playing with yourself? Playing with that barbie doll who accompanies you to the ring? What is you are doing with your days? Your nights? Is your life so busy, so much better than mine or anyone elses that you devote so little time to the place that you should be focusing on?
Maybe? Maybe the world that Robert Saints inhabits is just so much better than mine and the rest of us. Maybe his world is 1000 times better than mine. Maybe he has champagne and caviar and everyday is like the greatest day ever. Where he wakes up with rocky road ice cream for breakfast, and eats pizza all day long, lobster for lunch, and when he wants italian food he goes to Italy. Heck I dont know. Just seems his life is better.
Or maybe its not. Maybe his life is crap and he's stuck in a dark room by himself thinking what now?
But I think really is he doesnt care if he wears the IC Title. He doesnt care if it wins it or not, becaus his life wont change for the better, it wont change for the worse, it just doesnt matter. And if it doesnt matter thna I dont matter and if thats the case, well then its time I make myself and things matter.
