Its Friday. I don't feel like talking much today. But I figure I would get this out of the way now and enjoy my upcoming weekend. I got my income so I got a little money. So tonight I'll be eating at a Chinese buffet. And my son wants me to bring home some pizza for him. But I am off to dinner early. As I plan to be at that buffet at least for 2 hours, more if I can. I am taking some reading materials and am gonna get all set to stay there till I eat pass out or pop like a pinata whichever comes first hahaha.
But while my tummy rumbles in anticipation I gotta get myself ready. Yes I beat Mr. Money last week. Guess he wasn't as money as he thought and next card I am told I will be the world champion again be it Robert Saints or Jack Jones.
But for now I am booked to face Jackson Kent. Jackson Kent and I have faced off a few times. He is a former everything. And I know I will have a hard time with him. Then again I seem to have a hard time with everyone hahaha.
But that's OK, life isn't meant to be easy. If it were then too many people would succeed in life. Obstacles and things like that are meant to test us. Test our resiliency and test our resolve. Life will always throw curve balls and we wont always knock it out of the park, but if you at least try, if you step up to the plate and swing away, hit or miss, as long as you try, you’re a winner. At least you are in my book.
But in SFT there are lots of people who don't show up every week and sometimes there's a good reason other times there is not. That's just part of life.
There used to be this old song that I used to love, how did it go? Hmmm, Oh I remember now.
Life is a highway, I'm gonna ride it all night long. Something to that effect, don't know all the words but it went sorta like that. Anyway my point is I always step up to the plate, win or lose, rain or shine. But what I am really interested in seeing is whether the time away from the ring has affected Jackson or not, it would be hard for all that time off to not have affected him, but we will find out soon enough wont we?
Well Jackson as I said this was a short one, I am gonna get out to my Chinese buffet soon enough and I plan to have both a great lunch and a great dinner all for one price and one grand ole time. Hahahaha.
