(a short one)
This world is full of villains and heros. Jude has always been a hero. And Redd has always been ok with riding the line between hero and villain. But realistically Redd is a hero. Always has been. Redd has done more for SFT than just about anyone, at least in the years since Shadow passed away. Redd has begrudingly held this place together with glue, duct tape and whatever else he can find.
He works non stop. Even when he isnt in the ring for a few months he’s always doing something to try and help. That cannot be said for many many others. So many people have such huge egos. They do for them, and when that is no longer convenient they leave.
Heros stay. Villains leave and always leave things worse than when they arrived. I learned about such things as most do from tv and real life. Heros though usually do whats best and never ask for a supporting word. Villains though usually want some sort of recognition, some sort of gratitude. They are always wanting to be recognized in one form or another.
But real heros do whats right even when no one is looking, even when no one is caring. That is Redd. Always has been, always will be.
So Redd you and I will be facing off right after the new year. That will be quite awesome. I have nothing but respect for you Redd. You’ve always been the work horse of SFT and never really got your due respect. Yes you are the last of the founding fathers, maybe Glenn Owen too but he’s off living life and really has no time for us forgotten ones. But that is not his blame to carry. It belongs to all of us left behind.
So Redd win, lose or draw, you are my hero bro. Take that to the bank.
