The room is dark as the camera fades into Mya sitting looking at pictures. She wasn’t sure how she felt, that if she did the right thing by saving her separated husband from the fate that has taken her now. Outside the moon is rising over Texas but here, in this hospital room, there is nothing but silence. Uncomfortable silence. She hears mumbling as she looks up, shades over her now red eyes. Nirvana raises himself him from his bed, taking a seat on the side of said bed.
Nirvana- Where am I?
Mya- The hospital!
Nirvana- Was it Reyes?
Mya- Yes, I tried to come down to stop him but security stopped me.
Nirvana- Did you get revenge?
Mya- Yes and in the process also took his World Title.
Nirvana- Wait…. You’re SFT World Champion?!?!
Mya- Yes.
Nirvana blinks in surprise.
Nirvana- That’s a championship with twenty plus years of history behind it. At one point it was the only real world championship in professional wrestling.
Mya- I am well aware of its history and what it stands for. Enough about that, for now. Are you okay?
Nirvana- My head hurts. At least they put my mask back on my face when they were done with me.
Mya- You were in a coma for about a week.
Nirvana pauses for a moment.
Nirvana- Did you feed my bear?
Mya- Lisa handled that.
Nirvana- Is Sterling okay? She’s old enough now to understand what happened to me.
Mya- She is fine but you are now responsible for her.
Nirvana- Let me guess… I had a dream, I heard fighting… That wasn’t just a dream, was it?
Mya shakes her head no.
Nirvana- You’re still here, so they clearly didn’t kill you. I see those shades, though. Hiding your eyes perhaps because… They turned you, didn’t they?
Mya takes off her shades to show her red eyes.
Nirvana- Do the hunters know?
Mya- They are the ones that found me.
Nirvana closes his eyes and sighs.
Nirvana- I can take Sterling but we’ll need to stay at your place. I don’t have a home currently.
Mya- Okay. Just so you know though, they were here to turn you originally.
Nirvana- But I’m technically already dead. It had to have been something else.
Nirvana taps his chin in thought as Mya watches, her crimson eyes never leaving the old man.
Nirvana- No, they needed to take me from here. I don’t know why. Most likely they wanted to harvest what makes me special, what makes me a monster. Either that, or you were the target the entire time. Either way, I expect them to show up here within the next few days. We’ll need to leave this place tonight.
Mya- Styx and Junior have been here. They can get you out of here tonight.
Nirvana- What about you?
Mya- I’m going to stay and wait for them. That and I can’t leave till night anyway. Jamal is working on a way for me to go out in the middle of the day..
Nirvana- Did you bring weapons? They’ll come in force, Mya.
Mya- I do.
Nirvana- Good.
Nirvana stands from his bed and moves towards the closet to grab his clothes.
Nirvana- I’m going to get out of here. Do me a favor. Come by your place when this is all said and done. I’ll be waiting with Sterling.

Love sucks...in more ways than one. What you see right now is the sacrifice I made but now I am beginning to think they were after me from the start but it changes nothing. I still defy them, I still am against them but now there is a bigger target on my back and that is because I am the World Champion.
Although I am not defending my championship this week, the rest is not for the wicked. The fight continues and Jones you are my next victim. Blood will flow and bones will be broken. It won’t be for the faint at heart and when your blood flows, I will be sure to slowly lick it up. It’s all about the thirst my friend and you..you will be just another victim but maybe a bit tastier.
You talk about family. You talk about loyalty. Well, Jack, I gave up love to become the monster I am. I feel for my daughter. I feel for my husband, but those feelings are slowly fading. Those feelings are being replaced with a cold, dead feeling. The reality of it all is that the championship has put me on edge and that my lust for blood will never be filled.
Nirvana may be a monster, but he still has a heart. I do not.
