Welcome to my nightmare. I am your host Emerson Embry but most call me Em. Now as some of you might know or not know. My secret identity is that of a superhero. I am still figuring out the superhero name but I’ll find the right one eventually. Now all superhero’s need an arch nemesis. A villain if you will. And in wrestling there is no bigger villain than Nirvana. That’s right folks, this isn't no friendly rip off of Kurt Cobain. No siree. He is a talking walking nightmare. Yup, man walks in shadows and lives in darkness. He is one scary individual. One very scary individual.
So how am I to fight and defeat a living nightmare? Well I haven't figured that out quite yet but I think I just have to find his kryptonite. And by the way that is my theme song. How cool is that?
Anyway back to business. Nirvana may not be my nemesis. I think for the most part he doesn't know I exist. But that's OK. I have been overlooked my entire career here and that has always cost the other guy quite a lot. But I gotta wonder why now? I don't want to rehash the past but Nirvana has some nerve coming back here. All those friends he had with them are long gone now.
Psst, hey Nirvana, guess what? With friends like that who needs enemies? The matter of fact is one simple thing. The friends you make, the friends you keep, do infact reflect on you. Harold calls me a friend, what do you think that says of him? You make one good real friend and that person will back you for life. Ask Jack, ask Glenn, when Harold goes to war, we all go with him. Who has been there for you? That Nirvana is why you aren't as scary as I think. Because in the end you have no one. You are alone. Whether you live or breath, or haunt, no one is there to worry about you, to fight for you and with with you.
And so I may not be the greatest talent here but I am there for those here. So I will make you a deal. I will fight you. I will respect you. But in turn you have to stop being the nightmare you are. Because the deal with nightmares is that we all eventually wake up from those bad dreams. And once we wake up we forget those bad dreams.
The question is this, do you want to be forgotten? Cause you are halfway there.
