I don't know if that was Popeye or Eminem. Does it really matter? What DOES matter is that we are two weeks out from one of the biggest matches in SFT history… and this place is a darn ghost town.
Emerson is around, sure. Robert Saints is around, kind of. No Jamo or Jackson Kent. No shock there. Twilight is oddly silent. What's going on, people? I win the SFT World Championship and the entire company takes a vacation?
Well, I'm not on vacation. I'm right here, ready for my match on Tuesday against Robert Saints. In the grand scheme of things, this match doesn't matter. It's non-title, so one would assume that would be less pressure on the champ. To me… there is MORE pressure to succeed. If I lose to Saints in a non-title match, that should give him a title match… right?
That would change everything. Losing my first match after winning the SFT World Championship… to a guy like Robert Saints… would look bad on my resume. Luckily… I'm going to win on Tuesday. I don't have to consult a crystal ball to know my worth as a competitor. My victory on Tuesday, like many others… will be undeniable.
And then… what's next for Jaime Reyes? I owe Louis Cypher a rematch. Anytime he is ready, I'll be waiting. I'd still LOVE a match against Rumpke. Hardcore rules, of course. Another match with Twilight would be great. Are there any tag team in SFT? I could probably find a partner.
I'm getting ahead of myself though.
Robert Saints… you won't be striking anyone on Tuesday, least of all me. I applaud your efforts to seem like a credible opponent for me… but things are not going to go according to your plans. I'm going to remain unbeaten until I see fit to fail.
