Live from the Barn Theatre, Southwick, England

Tuesday 31st July 2018

As the screen fades in from back, we find ourselves outside The Barn Theatre in Southwick, England. There are no crowds of people outside, nor any fancy lights or banners on the side of the building to speak of. There is simply a sign on the board outside which reads “SFT Welcomes You Too Reality”.

The camera changes and we now find ourselves inside the small theatre. All the chairs have been folded back, and the small stage has a curtain across it and a ramp leading down into the main room. In the centre of the room is a small wrestling ring, very old looking and clearly it has seen better days. There is 4-5 feet of space outside the ring all around before temporary and flimsy looking steel rails have been placed all around for the crowd to stand behind.

Tonight attendance is at capacity, as 98 people have packed themselves behind the rails, nearly all of them decked out in various SFT clothing. Nobody is making much of a noise at the moment and all seem to be waiting around to see what’s going to happen.

Suddenly the curtain on the stage pulls back slightly, and John Cartright makes his way down the ramp to a nice cheer from the crowd. He gives everyone a wave sits down on an old wooden chair at a small table, where a broadcast box has been wired up for him. He places the microphone on his head and begins to speak…

JC: Ladies & Gentleman from around the world, welcome to one of the most extraordinary and surreal nights we have ever had here in Strike Fantasy Towers. 98 fans have packed their way into this small little theatre to witness this, the latest SFT PPV…. Back To Reality. I’m your host John Cartright, and it would appear that I’m flying solo night, but I promise you it’s going to be a hell of a show.

Suddenly there is a noise from the crowd as some pushing and shoving appears to be going on over in the far left corner. Suddenly from out of the crowd, Randy White can be seen making his way over the rail, where upon he then makes his way around to the small announcers table.

JC: Well correction, it would seem like I’m not flying solo after all.

Randy looks around for a chair, and starts to get visibly frustrated that one can’t be found for him. A young guy, no older than 19 then comes and delivers the chair for him, and plugs in another headset into the broadcast box so that Randy can take his place alongside John Cartright in commentary.

JC: Welcome Randy, I heard that you got a call saying you could join me tonight, so I’m glad you could make it.

RW: Make it! Do you have any idea what I’ve been through. I got the call early this morning saying I was allowed to attend, then there was nobody to book a plane for me, so I had to use my OWN money to fly out to this place, where upon there was no driver to pick me up, no directions given to me on how to get here. I’ve checked into this strange AirBB place and now I find myself in a small little crap hole with 99 strange looking guys supposedly all under the banner of a PPV. I mean what the hell is going on here?

JC: So basically you’re just your normal happy self then?

RW: Shut up John, I’ve had enough of this dump already.

JC: Randy, you knew the deal here. This is a different kind of night, and boy oh boy did you do some brown noising to get yourself on commentary.

RW: Shut up John, I’m fed up with you being the blue eyed boy around here. I’ve worked my knackers of just to be here tonight, show me some respect and just do your damn job will you.

JC: Charming as ever! Well Ladies and Gentleman tonight we have only 2 matches. In our first match, Glenn Owen makes his long awaited return to the ring to race another old timer Saint Jude.

RW: You call that thing in front of us a ring? I mean WFT!

JC: And in a second match of the night, the main event, we have an over the top rope battle royal to determine who will be the new SFT Champion. It’s going to be all out carnage, so sit down folks, grab yourself a nice banana milkshake, and prepare yourself for “Back To Reality”

John and Randy both pauses as the camera pans around the crowd. They are still awaiting some action. After a few moments, the same young man who brought Randy his chairs appears from behind the curtain, only this time wearing a referee top.

RW: What is going on here John?

JC: How do you mean?

RW: I get that sometimes you have to cut costs and all, but this is silly. How many people do we have on staff here tonight?

JC: I don’t understand. We’re in the middle of nowhere, we have no staff. Just a few volunteers…

RW: For god sake, who’s going to bring me my soda during commercial?

JC: Randy, I really don’t think you are in the spirit of this ppv yet. Calm yourself down.

RW: Shut up John, just shut up.

Another young chap comes out from behind the curtain, again only about 20 years of age. He walks to the side of the stage to hold the curtain rope as it looks like something is about to happen.

Glenn Owen vs Saint Jude

No Holds Barred Match

The young man pulls the curtain back, and out comes Saint Jude as the 99 capacity crowd start to cheer. There is no entrance music tonight, and Saint Jude looks around intensely at his surroundings from the top of the ramp. He then slowly makes his way to the old tattered ring and climbs up into it, going straight into the middle and getting down on one knee as he begins to pray.

JC: And so we have our first competitor of the night. I find it very fitting that it’s probably our longest serving wrestler.

RW: Second longest John, I have a feeling that the guy that’s about to come has been wrestling under his name a little longer. But yeah I know what you mean.

Saint Jude crosses himself and gets back upon his feet. He runs into the ring ropes a couple of times to test their strength, and they appear to be holding up. Suddenly the curtains pull open once again, and the crowd let out a cheer as Glenn Owen is standing on the stage.

RW: Well here he is, the guy that got us into this damn mess!

JC: Also the guy who allowed you to commentate tonight so you might want to show some respect.

RW: Whatever…..

Glenn Owen stands centre on the top of the stage and looks around the small venue. He gives a smile from the corner of his mouth as he clothes his eyes to take a deep breath. After a few moments he makes his way down the small ramp and starts to walk around the ring, shaking hands with anyone in the crowd who wishes too. He can audibly be herd saying that you to everyone who’s hand he shakes.

RW: Oh what is this a popularity contest?

JC: Well if it is one, it would appear he is winning!

After Glenn is done with the crowd he makes his way into the ring, and straight away faces up to Saint Jude. Both men look at each other intensely, staring each other down, neither of them blicking a single eyelid.

RW: Can you believe that these guys have never faced each other one on one?

JC: It would appear that’s about to change. And what a place to change it, right here in Glenn’s home town.

Saint Jude extents his hand to Glenn, and Glenn accepts. As both men finish shaking hands, the young ref on the outside of the ring hits a small bell and then jumps into the ring as the match begins.

RW: Oh he’s the bell ringer as well eh!

JC: And it would appear that we are under way.

Both Saint Jude and Glenn Owen just stand looking at each other for a few moments, each of them taking some time to eyeball their surrounds as the 99 strong crowd start to cheer. Jude is the man who makes the first strike, which is a hard right hand to the face. This knocks Glenn Owen back a little, but he comes straight back and stands in the exact same place, before hitting Jude with his own right hand. Jude hardly moves and just smiles at Glenn Owen.

JC: Looks like it’s a test of strength to start with here.

Glenn starts hitting hard right hands to Jude, and in turn Jude gives as good as he gets, but it’s Glenn that gets the upper hands, whipping Jude into the ropes and attempting a clothesline upon his return, however Jude ducks that and comes flying off the ropes upon his return, ramming Glenn Owen in the shoulder as both men fall to the mat. Jude gets up first and brings Glenn Owen to his feet and performs a perfect belly to back suplex, much to the delight of the crowd. Glenn looks dazed but has little time to recoup himself as Saint Jude has already brought him to his feat ones again, but before he can before his second belly to back, Glenn with a skilled reversal gives Saint Jude and upper cut, then kicks him in the stomach and performs a stunner, sending Saint Jude crashing back across the ring and onto the floor.

RW: Wow, old skool! Looks like Glenn Owen is going all stone cold and Jude’s ass.

JC: That’s one hell of a move I must say.

Glenn gets up and looks around at the crowd and walks over to Saint Jude who is now rolling around on the floor in pain. As Glenn looks down at him, he’s about to ring him to his feet, but then looks around at the crowd with a smile on his face. He makes his way out of the ring and pokes around underneath it to see what he can find. From underneath he pulls out a very old, folded, rusty looking steel cheer, much to the delight of everyone in attendance, and then throws it into the ring, climbing back in the ring himself shortly after.

RW: What’s going on John?

JC: Goodness, I forgot to mention, this is a no holds barred match!

RW: You forgot to mention, how in the world are you still employed by this company?

JC: Well you should have known as well Randy, it’s on the match card after all.

Glenn picks up the chair and walks over to Jude. Jude catches him from the corner of his eye and straight away turns around and goes for the low blow, leaving Glenn holding his special place in pain as he drops the chair.

RW: Ouch!

JC: Ouch Indeed.

RW: And who the hell is going to treat that injury after the match I wonder.

Jude picks up the chair and is just about to smash it over Glenn’s back, when Glenn turns around and grabs the chair himself right when Jude starts the swing. Now both men are standing there, each one refusing to let go of the chair as they wrestle for its control.

JC: There fighting over a chair now!

RW: You would think they would focus on actual wrestling!

Glenn manages to grab the chair out of Jude’s hand, and then smashes it head on into Jude’s face, dropping him instantly to the mat.

RW: Holy damn hot shit!

JC: Oh my, this match is surely over.

Glenn straight away drops and goes for the cover, the young ref gets down on he’s knees and counts….

1…..

2…..

Kick out…..

RW: No, Jude manages to kick out. Amazing!

JC: It’s Saint Jude, this guy’s not going to give up so easy!

Glenn gets to his feet and stands and looks down at Saint Jude. He goes to fling himself into the ring rope, but as fast as lightning Jude is up, grabs the chair and follows Glenn as he’s running into the rope, the moment Glenn hits the rope to return, Jude connects with the chair to Glenn’s face which hits him with such force, it sends him back over the ring rope and tumbling onto the ground outside the ring…..

JC: I don’t belief it!

RW: He’s gone, he’s out and he’s not getting back up. I’ve never seen a shot landed like it!

The crowd are visibly shocked at the force of which Jude connected with the chair, and both the young ref and his assistant standing by the stag curtain go running over to check that he’s ok. Glenn is not moving at all, it would appear he’s out cold!

JC: Yeah this match is over.

RW: Would appear so…. I hope the guys ok. I can’t see any blood but how is he still breathing?

Jude comes over to look down, and he sees Glenn stirring ever so slightly. That’s all Jude needs to see before he slides under the rope and out of the ring and starts stomping away at Glenn Owen, much to the dismay of the ref and his assistant.

JC: Ahh stop it now, this is not fair. Go pray or something Jude.

As Jude is stomping away at Glenn, suddenly Glenn gets back up, bolt up straight and stares at Jude in the eye.

RW: What!!!!!

Glenn starts hitting away at Jude, and in turn Jude returns the favour. Now both men are hitting each other. Glenn pushes Jude back and hits him with a right leg which connects perfectly with Jude’s jaw. Now Jude is down but Glenn is not having any of it as he pulls him up by the hair. Jude starts to hit away at Glenn again, and both men seem to appear to be making their way back up the small ramp to the top of the stage as they both go at each other.

JC: This isn’t a wrestling match, it’s just a brawl. Pure and simple and nothing more!

RW: And I have no idea who the hell is going to win it!

Both men are still brawling with each other, Jude manages to performs a DDT on the top of the stage, and as Glenn connects with the ground he rolls into the curtain. The young assistant runs up to stop the curtain falling down and manages to keep it up, but it would appear both Glenn Owen and Saint Jude are now behind the curtain. The ref runs up to the top of the stage and looks behind the curtain, but after a few minutes he turns to the audience and shrugs his hands.

JC: What’s going on?

RW: Where the hell are they?

The young ref has a few words with his young assistant; neither of them seems to know what to do. After both once again looking behind the stage curtain with no luck, the young ref walks back down to the ring.

RW: So errr, what’s going on?

The young ref looks out at the crowd and says sorry, he waves his hands to the side and rings to bell to signal a no contest!

RESULT: NO CONTEST

RW: Ahhh come on!

JC: Well I guess they can’t continue the match if they’re not here.

RW: I was just getting into that. Their back there somewhere surely! Get some cameras back there or something.

JC: Randy, look around you, how many cameras do you think we have here tonight?

RW: Well it’s not fair; it made me forget where we are for a while!

JC: That was indeed all skool ladies and gentleman, but it would appear that our two old timers aren’t going to finish their match in the ring tonight so it’s a no contest! Guys we have only one commercial break tonight, and it’s about to come up, but whatever you do don’t go away….

JC: Welcomes Back to Reality Ladies and Gentleman…

RW: Seriously, they must be back there somewhere. Go look for them John!

JC: What and leave you here on your own with a microphone, yeah that’s gonna happen!

RW: Seriously John, just stop being so jealous of my awesomeness…

JC: I don’t have time for you fun and games Randy, besides it would appear that the main moment is now upon us….. the main event of the ppv, with the SFT world title on the line.

RW: So this is like Royal Rumble thing I take it?

JC: That’s what I’ve been told. Apparently 2 people start off the match, then at regular intervals another opponent enters the match. The only way to be eliminated is for someone to be thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. Last man left is our new world champion.

RW: I’m worried about a few things here. First of all, who on earth is the time keeper? And secondly, are we actually going to fit more than two people in that busted old ring?

JC: Well time will tell I guess.

The young referee makes his way over to a small wooden table next to John and Randy. From underneath it he brings out a miniature fog horn, and from out of his pocket he brings his iphone. He sets the iphone on the stopwatch setting and lays it on the table…

RW: Oh yeah, this is going to be very well organised.

JC: It is what it is John. Don’t you just love this raw atmosphere? The tension, the feeling of getting back to our roots?

RW: I’ve no dressing room, I had to pay for my own taxi here. I’m stuck in the middle of an English town in a crappy AirBB! Yeah it’s great.

JC: Consider yourself lucky you’re here. You begged and begged to be a part of commentary for this ppv.

RW: I hate it….

JC: It’s a match for the SFT World Title Randy, we’re about to go Back to Reality!

The young ref waves at the guy standing at the curtain, he then rolls the curtain back, and Louis Cypher comes out from the back to a nice pop from the crowd!

Louis Cypher Enters 1st

JC: Wow, Louis Cypher is kicking off the rumble. And damn he’s got a determined look in his eye.

RW: Yeah I’ll give you that one. He’s our current world champion and it looks like he’s drawn the short straw when it comes to defending his title! That said I’ve not seen Cypher look this serious in ages. Seems like he’s primed and ready to go.

Louis Cypher makes his way into the ring, walks around and looks out at the capacity crowd of 98. He points at a couple of people and smiles, before going into the centre and looking up at the curtain to see who’s going to join him.

The young ref again waves at the guy next to the curtain who in turns pulls it back, and Rumpke comes out from the back and makes his way to the ring, holding a bottle of JD in his left hand.

Rumpke Enters 2nd

RW: Rumpke!!!

JC: Indeed, this is going to be a great way to start the match! Ok, let’s get this thing started.

The young ref walks to the side of the ring, says a few words at both men before making his way back to the small table where the bell now sits. He starts the stopwatch on his iphone and hits the bell.

JC: And we’re under way…..

Both Louis Cypher and Rumpke stare at each other for a few moments as they make their way into the middle of the ring. After a moment Cypher hits Rumpke hard in the face, and then gets him in a headlock straight away. Cypher starts hitting away at his head whilst in the headlock, but this gives Rumpke the chance to break the hold and as he does he throws him into the ring ropes, following closely behind him attempting a clothesline to send Cypher over the top. But Cypher ducks upon his return and turns around quickly to execute a right leg to the groin!

RW: Ouch, damn that’s gotta hurt.

JC: There’ trying to eliminate each other early, and already there seems to be a whole lot of hurt out there!

Louis Cypher is looking very pleased with himself as Rumpke holds his groin whilst on his knees. Cypher picks Rumpke up by the hair and attempts to throw him into the ropes, but with no luck as Rumpke manages to hold his ground. No we go back to some more traditional wrestling as Rumpke performs a back elbow, and Cypher retaliates right back with a forearm chop across the chest. Both men then lock heads, each one trying to gain the advantage, and it’s Rumpke who gains the advantage this time, performing a wonderful belly to back suplex which sends Cypher to the ground.

JC: Wow, where did that come from!

RW: Rumpke is class and you know it! Well, maybe not class but he’s got some game!

Outside of the ring, the ref goes over to check his iphone, after waiting a few minutes he rings the bell and signals to his helper at the top of the stage, who opens the curtains.

RW: Looks like we’re about to get entrant number three John. So how often are the guys coming to the ring?

JC: Err, I’ve no idea!

RW: Oh great, this is very professional this is!

A few moments after the curtains draw back; Travis Deacon-Hall comes out from the back and slowly makes his way down to the ring.

Travis Deacon-Hall Enters 3rd

JC: So Travis Deacon-Hall is our 3rd entrant tonight.

RW: He’s taking his time as well, but man does he look determined.

Rumpke looks up and sees Travis Deacon-Hall making his way to the ring as Cypher is still down on the floor. Given the size of the arena it only takes Travis a few moments to get to the ring, and as he stands there he starts to taunt Rumpke by asking him to bring it.

RW: Oooo, mind games, I like that! Travis knows his stuff!

JC: Makes sense, it’s not fair though.

RW: It’s smart, this is a long match, he’s just conserving energy.

JC: Wait a second, what’s that?

The curtains start to move suddenly the moment after they are closed, but TRAVIS and CYPHER look up at the stage to see what is going on, as does the rest of the audience, and suddenly, Saint Jude comes rolling through the curtains holding his back in pain, with Glenn Owen following behind him holding a chair!

RW: WFT!

JC: Oh my, it seems like our first match hasn’t finished yet!

RW: Are they in the match?

JC: No…

RW: Well get back stage then, there’s not much room out here; I don’t want anything happening to us!

Saint Jude slowly gets up but Glenn Owen hits him over the back with a chair which sends Jude crashing back to the ground in total pain. Glenn then throws the chair away and looks around the arena, not before slowly bring Jude back to his feet. But Jude somehow manages a low blow and now Glenn is down on his feet. Jude steps back and then lunges at Glenn as both men go tumbling together back through the curtain.

JC: Well that was an interesting distraction….

RW: Just keep them away from me…

By this time, Louis Cypher hasn’t noticed that Rumpke is now up on his feet, and without Rumpke realising it he sneaks up behind him and elbows him hard in the shoulder. Rumpke then starts to stomp away at Cypher, all the while Travis Deacon-Hall is pacing up and down outside the ring grinning to himself.

Rumpke continues to stomp away at Louis Cypher, and after a few moments he brings him up to his feet and pushing him to the corner of the ring. A few head blows later and now Rumpke is trying to get Cypher over the top rope, but Cypher is managing to hold his ground firmly. After a few moments Cypher pushes Rumpke away, and drops down to his feet for a moment clinching the ring ropes to try and regroup himself. But Louis Cypher is having none of it, and flies across the ring connecting his right knee into the middle of Rumpke’s chest….

RW: Damn, that’s hardcore.

JC: Right out of the Randy Orton playbook! Wasn’t that move banned?

RW: Yeah, I don’t think rules really count for much tonight!

The young ref is now making his way over to his iphone, rings the bell and once again he signals to the helper to open the curtains. Almost the second the curtains open, Robert Saints comes running from the back and runs straight down the small ramp towards Travis Deacon-Hall….

Robert Saints Enters 4th

JC: It’s Robert Saints!

RW: Yeah, and I don’t think he’s looking to mess around!

Saints runs towards Travis and starts hitting away at him outside of the ring. He gets in plenty of right hands sending Travis to the ground. Saints then picks Travis up and throws him into the ring. following closely behind him.

RW: Right, now we have 4 men in the ring. It’s time to rock and Roll Johnny boy!

JC: Errrr, yeah!

Travis starts hitting onto Saints now that his has found his feet, but Cypher comes over and nails Travis in the back which sends him down. Now Cypher and Robert Saints are going one on one, Saints gets the upper hand and whips Cypher into the rings ropes, he goes for the clothesline in an attempt to throw Cypher over the top rope, but as Cypher goes flying over the top he manages to grab the rope avoid dropping to the floor, quickly rolling back into the ring. As he rolls back in now Travis Deacon-Hall comes over and starts hitting away at Robert Saints. Travis connects with a perfect suplex which sends Robert Saints to the ground, but as soon as Travis is back on his feet ready to continue hitting away at Saints, Rumpke comes out of nowhere and pushes Travis from behind, sending him over the top rope and eliminating him from the match!

Travis Deacon-Hall Eliminated

RW: Wow, where did Rumpke come from? He was down in pain and suddenly he’s caused our first elimination!

JC: Beats me, he shouldn’t be on his feet after that kick.

RW: Must be the alcohol.

JC: Either way, we have our first elimination of the night.

With Rumpke having used all of his strength for the elimination, he is now back down on one knee as Robert Saints and Louis Cypher are both on the floor regain energy. Cypher is the first to rise and looks at both men, wondering which one to attack first, but at the moment he sees the young ref checking his phone again, and he rings the bell and signals to the curtain puller. Back go the curtains and Twilight can be seen at the top of the ramp.

Twilight Enters 5th

RW: Here he is, I wonder what timeframe he is in tonight!

JC: The time is now, and he enters the rumble…..

Twilight walks forcefully down to the ring, and without any messing he climbs in and squares straight up to Louis Cypher. Cypher is the first to strike, but Twilight being fresh in the match quickly gets the upper hand. An elbow to the right hand shoulder followed by a quick DDT sends Cypher down, he rolls over to the corner of the ring in an attempt to avoid any further conflict. Now Rumpke is back on his feet and catches Twilight from behind, sending him down on his knees as he looks around the arena at the fans that are all going nuts! But Robert Saints is now also back in the action, and he attempts to perform a belly to back suplex, which he does, but not before Cypher returns right after and starts stomping away on both Saints and Rumpke before they can get back on their feet. All the while Twilight has regained himself, and now he and Cypher are trading blows in the centre of the ring much to the delight of the crowd. All of a sudden the crowd quiet down, as there seems to be some kind of distraction at the back of the hall where the fire exit is. We hear some loud banging, and then suddenly out of nowhere Glenn Owen comes crashing through the fire door and falls down into the crowd, as Saint Jude can be seen in the entrance looking extremely pleased with himself…

RW: WHAT!

JC: This is still going on?

Jude makes his way through the few fans that are standing around Glenn Owen, and he is about to start kicking away at him, but Glenn Owen kicks upwards into Jude’s groin, sending him down into the crowd also!

RW: This is carnage John. They are still out it, and now we have fight all over the… well I was going to say arena, but it’s more like a damn school gym hall in here.

JC: There match has ended, yet they continue to fight. Well, if they can both get up that is!

All the while this is going on, the wrestlers in the ring have become totally distracted and disoriented, but Twilight looks around and sees an opportunity. He grabs Robert Saints from behind, kicks him in the cut, grabs his hair and throws him over the top rope!

Robert Saints Eliminated

RW: Wow, that happened fast. That was all Jude and Glenn’s fault! Twilight caught Saints completely of guard!

JC: Yes I agree, but it is what it is and we’ve lost another wrestler… That said it looks like we may be about to get another…

The young ref once again checks his iphone, and after waiting a few seconds he points at the stage, and as the curtains pull back, Jack Jones comes running down the ramp. He makes his way into the ring and starts striking all three wrestlers with all the energy he has. And it’s not long before he has all three down on the floor.

Jack Jones Enters 6th

RW: Damn, Jack Jones making a statement here that’s for sure!

Jones continues to strike everything he can, but Twilight manages to fight back, getting in a few right hands before whipping him into the ropes and connecting with a clothesline on his return. Louis Cypher is now back on his feet also, and attempts to turn Twilight around and throw him into the ropes, but Twilight is having none of it and reverses the move. He runs behind him as he whips him into the ropes, with the intent on following throw right at the end, but Cypher is too smart and manages to block Twilight with his elbow. Jack Jones suddenly launches himself towards both men, pushing them both into the ropes, but neither men come close to going over the top. Jack Jones then starts to hit away at both of them, striking each man in the face as he slowly weakens them. He looks at Twilight and recons he can get him over the rope, which he tries to do, but Twilight is resisting with all his might. Whilst they both struggle against the ropes, Cypher comes around from his daze and sees an opportunity to strike. He lowers himself and lifts both men up from the feet, pushing them with all his might and throwing them both over the rope rope, eliminating each one when their feet touch the ground.

Twilight & Jack Jones Eliminated

JC: Wow, Louis Cypher has just eliminated two men at once.

RW: And he was the first man in the match! That man is a machine. A dark, warped and crazy machine.

JC: We’re now down to 2 men! Ironically the 2 men that started off this match.

RW: You might want to make that 3 John!

As everyone was focused on the elimination, the young ref had already signalled for the next man to enter, and now Jamie Reyes can be seen slowly walking down the small ramp.

Jamie Reyes Enters 7th

JC: It’s the new guy!

RW: Not so knew if you ask me, but yeah, he must be raring to go! The Dude looks so determined it seems only aliens are going to eliminate him tonight!

JC: Randy, what the hell are you on about?

RW: Dude, you’re so last year, don’t you ever check the forums?

JC: What?

RW: Never mind!

Jamie Reyes makes his way to the side of the ring, but he stops and looks over into the small crowd, as it would appear that both Glenn Owen and Saint Jude are fighting again. By this time Rumpke has had plenty of time to re-group himself and is once again hitting away at Louis Cypher who is now looking completely exhausted.

RW: God, it’s all going on here!

JC: These 2 should have just entered the damn rumble!

Reyes just watches on as Glenn and Jude get closer, and Cypher and Rumpke continue to trade blows in the ring. As Glenn and Jude fight, Glenn looks up and spots Jamie Reyes and they both stop. Reyes just stands looking at them with a grin on his face, but Saint Jude has already grabs a chair away from a fan who’s just behind him, and as he picks it up to strike Glenn Owen, Glenn kicks out and sends Jude flying back into the on-looking Jamie Reyes.

JC: Oh dear!

RW: This is not going to end well!

Jamie Reyes looks infuriated and starts trading blows with Saint Jude as he drops the chair. Jude at this point is so tired that he can hardly keep on his feet, so it’s not long before Reyes has the upper hand, and he then picks up the chair and smashes it over the back of Saint Jude leaving him out cold on the floor.

RW: Holy Hell!

JC: Someone get a doctor…..

All the while this is going on, Louis Cypher and Rumpke are still going at it in the centre of the ring. We now notice that Glenn has turned his attention away from Jude and Reyes and is looking in the ring. He seems to signal something to Cypher, and as he does, Cypher nods and summons all his force to whip Rumpke into the ring rope, but just a second before Rumpke is about to connect with the rope, Glenn pulls down the top rope which leads to Rumpke tumbling over the top to come crashing down on the floor…..

Rumpke Eliminated

RW: WFT!

JC: I don’t understand…

RW: I mean WFT just happened! Glenn Owen all but just eliminated Rumpke in a devious underhand way.

JC: Well there is very little loss between them, but this is unlike Glenn.

RW: Maybe your right John. Glenn Owen started his career as the British Badd Ass, maybe we are going back to reality!

Rumpke is on the floor below and Glenn Owen is just grinning. He starts kicking away at Rumpke and starts to push him up the small ramp, where he throws him behind the curtain. He then comes back down and picks up Saint Jude, staring at Jamie Reyes as he carries him back up. He then throws Jude into the curtain, which comes crashing down around both Rumpke and Jude, and starts kicking them backstage in a large tangled mess.

RW: Now we have no curtain. As if this wasn’t shambolic enough!

JC: Well at least we can focus on the one fight that matters now. I still can’t believe what just happened.

Jamie Reyes now turns his attention to the ring, where Louis Cypher is sitting in the corner of the ring trying to catch his breath for all he’s worth. Jamie Reyes enters the ring and stands in the middle, looking down at the exhausted mess that is Louis Cypher, but just then the young ref signals to the stage after checking his iphone once again, but seeing there is now curtain for his younger helper to pull back, he just bacons the next person to the ring. Jackson Kent suddenly runs out and makes his way straight into the centre of the ring without hesitation.

Jackson Kent Enters 8th

RW: Yes, it’s Jackson Kent! Now this guy looks like he means business.

Jackson squares straight up to Reyes, and they don’t hesitate to start hitting away at each other. Jackson manages to get the upper hand, and pulls of a fantastic German suplex. He goes over to check out Cypher, but Eyes is already on his feet and catches him from behind. Both men trade blows once again, and this time it’s Jamie Reyes who gets the upper hand, bring Kent down to the mat and putting him into a choke hold. Now Kent looks like he is struggling, but somehow he manages to break the hold, and in a move of brilliant wrestling skill pulls Reyes off, gets to his feet, turns himself around, whips Reyes into the ropes and connects with a devastating clothesline upon his return which sends Reyes crashing down to the mat forcefully….

RW: Amazing…

JC: Yep, I’ll give you that one.

RW: No I mean that’s amazing. You can tell wrestling is in his blood, that was absolutely brilliant! Reyes had him, that was unbelievable.

JC: Again I agree!

At this point Jackson is looking strong and confident, he has both men down on the floor, but rather than go for the elimination, he looks around at the crowd and signals for a high flying move! He grabs Reyes into the centre and then goes over to the corner and climbs up to the top rope. He looks down and launches himself off the top rope, connecting with a flying elbow drop which sends Reyes rolling around in pain. The small crowd are now going nuts, but right around now the young ref is looking at his iphone again and signals to the stage, then waves his hands by his sides to signal that this will be the final entrant of the match. A few moments later, Emerson Embry appears at the top of the stage and starts to make his way down the ramp.

Emerson Embry Enters 9th

JC: Emerson, our last Entrant is Emerson Embry!

RW: Not fair, where’s James Flame, where’s Triple X, or Shaun Lane or Brandi James? I was expecting so much more John.

JC: Look around you Randy, is this not enough? Look at the damn carnage!

RW: Yeah well, you know it’s the AirBB thing; it’s really getting to me.

JC: This night has been all about heart and soul, and not many people have more of that than this guy right here!

Emerson makes his way to the ring and looks Jackson Kent up and down.

RW: There’s no love loss here either!

Emerson jumps into the ring, but Jackson is all over him the moment he enters. Both men trade blows but its Emerson who gets the first hard right hand in that stuns Jackson for a few moments. But this just proves to fire Jackson up even more, as he executes a quick left, right and left again, then performing a DDT which sends Emerson to the ground. By this time Reyes has got back to his feet, but once again Jackson is all over him, with fast quick jabs to both his gut and his face. But Emerson suddenly gets back on his feet, and now both he and Reyes are both teaming up on Jackson Kent, who is now struggling to fight both men off. Reyes whips Jackson into the ropes, but on his return he manages to double clothesline both men as he flies towards them, and all three men now go crashing down to the floor.

RW: I’m telling you, this guy is fast becoming a wrestling god!

JC: He has amazing skills; there is little doubt about that!

Louis Cypher has been sitting in the corner of the ring all this time, and he looks like he’s just about to stir, but Kent goes over and starts stomping away at him. He picks him up but Reyes has now returned and elbows Kent in the back, sending him down to the floor. Reyes then brings Cypher into the middle of the ring, and he’s just about to attempt a stunner when Emerson comes over and launches himself into both of them. Emerson then picks Cypher up and is about to throw him over the rope, when Kent now gets back to his feet and interrupts the move. Louis Cypher drops to his feet as Reyes, Kent and Emerson are now all standing striking each other as much as possible in the centre of the ring. Jackson Kent looks like he is winning the battle, and goes up to Reyes once he’s brought Emerson to his knees. Jackson whips Reyes into the ropes, but on his return Reyes slides throw his legs, and kicks upwards from behind which brings Jackson down. He swiftly grabs him and throws him towards the ropes with great force, following behind to go for the elimination, Jackson flies over the top rope but manages somehow to hang on and avoid touching the ground, but Reyes hits him hard in the head and he falls below…

Jackson Kent Eliminated

RW: Damn it, I thought he was gonna win!

JC: Amazing moves there by both guys, but it looks like despite a great show this is not going to be Jackson Kent’s night!

Emerson looking up sees Reyes standing next to the rope where he has just eliminated Jackson, and he flies across the ring to take advantage, but Reyes spots this and quickly moves out ot eh way, pulling down the rope slightly and guiding Emerson over the rope to send him also crashing out to the ground below…

Emerson Embry Eliminated

JC: Emerson is no out as well, and we’re down to two men!

RW: Well one man and one half dead corpse in the corner!

JC: He was the first one in, would you really bed against him being the last one out?

Neither Emerson nor Jackson can believe it, but they both make their way up the ramp and accept their fate gracefully. Reyes is now back in the centre of the ring and down on one knee composing himself, and he looks up and Louis Cypher who is barely moving at all in the opposite corner of the ring.

Reyes composes himself and walks over the Cypher and pulls him up from the head, he’s about to throw his first right hand, when Cypher musters some strength and starts hitting away at Reyes…

RW: My god, where is he getting that strength from?

First a right hand, then a left hand, then a right hand and another left as the small crowd are now living every single strike! Cypher looks around and runs into the ropes, and in not much of a wrestling move just jumps at Reyes and sends both men to the mat when he connects. Cypher regains himself quickly and gets back to his feet, then pulls Reyes up with him, tries to put in a headlock but Reyes manages to pull away and throw Cypher into the rope. Rather than returning, Cypher just grabs the rope and stays put, but Reyes is already running over and going for the clothesline, but Cypher moves out of the way which sends Reyes into the rope and halfway over the top. Cypher tries to capitalise and push him over, but Reyes is holding on for dear life, and manages after a few moments to kick Cypher away and get his feet back in the ring.

JC: So close!

RW: So near that Cigar!

Cypher is looking weary but starts to hit away a couple of times at Reyes, but then it’s Reyes who whips Cypher into the ropes with a quick fast moves. Cypher is not going over, but now he is just hanging over the side. He Reyes elbows Cypher in the back a couple of times, stands a couple of paces back and then throws himself into Cypher one last time. He then picks Cypher up by the feet and Cypher is now dangling on the top rope, holding on with all the strength he has left, but Reyes keeps pushing and with one loud screaming finally lifts him up fully, throwing him over the top rope and onto the ground below.

WINNER: JAMIE REYES

As the match ends.....

JC: That’s it, it’s over!

The small crowd are going absolutely ballistic, you would think it’s the noise coming from a large scale arena, not 98 fans crammed into a hall.

RW: That was Amazing

JC: That was more than mazing, that was a dose of reality!

Jamie Reyes falls to the mat in the ring as the young ref walks over and rings the bell to signal the end of the match. He climbs into the ring and as Reyes gets back to his feet, holds his arm a in the air as the crowd continue to cheer…

JC: In years, and I mean many, many years I have never seen a match like it, I’ve never known a PPV like it. We have a new world Champion Randy, and that man, is Jamie Reyes…

RW: Yeah, speaking of championships

Randy now stands up and shouts into the ring.

RW: Hey, REF!!!! Aren’t you forgetting something?

The ref looks over at Randy and looks confused for a second, but then in a moment of shock looks around! He signals to his younger helper who is still standing pointlessly at the top of the stage. He looks confused when he sees the ref waving at him, but then goes back stage for a few moments then appears with the SFT World Championship belt.

JC: See, they just need a little guidance.

RW: A little!!!!!!

The young guy brings the belt into the ring, and the ref then hands it to Jamie Reyes who climbs up into the corner and holds the belt in the air as the fans continue to shout and cheer all around him. A few of them are now inside the ring themselves and posing with Reyes in the corner as Reyes continues to celebrate to all around him.

JC: Well Ladies and Gentleman watching around the world, I hope you will agree this has been one extraordinary night. One for the books there is no doubt about that!

RW: I will admit, I’ve never known anything like it. Now John, can I come stay at your hotel please?

JC: From Southwick, England, we wish all watching a great evening, and whatever you do, look out for Tuesday Night Titans in a couple of weeks, where I’m sure some of the action from night is bound to continue. Until then goodnight and god bless.

Slowly the camera starts to fade from inside the barn theatre with Jamie Reyes posing with fans for selfies in the centre of the ring.
