Scene 1
**The scene begins at a house where Jackson Kent is walking up the walk way towards the porch of the house. He knocks on the door and when the door opens stands a middle aged lady. The lady is the adoptive mother of Jackson's younger brother Michael.**
Middle Aged Lady: Can I help you?
Jackson Kent: Hello ma'am, I'm Jackson Kent, Michael's older brother.
Middle Aged Lady: Oh...Yes. He talks a lot about you. Hold on and I'll call him from upstairs.
**The lady calls up to Michael and he comes down the stairs right away. He stops in the front foyer once he sees his older brother Jackson.**
Michael Wallace: Oh my god...Jackson! You're here!
**Michael goes to his brother and the two of them grip hands in solidarity, then Jackson hugs his brother.**
Jackson Kent: It's great to see you again Michael, you have sure grown up.
**Both Jackson and Michael enter the house and the lady shuts the door. The three of them head into the livingroom.**
Middle Aged Lady: I'll leave the two of you alone so you both can talk awhile. I'm doing some baking in the kitchen, so I'll get back to that.
**She goes into the kitchen and now Jackson and Michael take a seat on the sofa and start to talk.**
Jackson Kent: Seems we have a lot of catching up to do.
Michael Wallace: I know. But I'm just go glad you're here. You didn't bring your fiance Erika with you?
Jackson Kent: Work had her tied up today, so she wasn't able to make the trip here with me.
Michael Wallace: Oh okay. So are you here for the day or how long do we have for our visit?
Jackson Kent: Well I would hope to stay for a week. The SFT show is here this week, so will be able to stay around a little longer.
**Michael smiles at that news.**
Michael Wallace: That's great. Hey, I wanna thank you for the birthday card and SFT tshirts you sent me in the mail for my 17th birthday. I loved them! The one with you on the front is awesome, and the one with Cassandra on the front of it is really cool too.
Jackson Kent: I'm glad you enjoyed them. Do your parents let you watch?
Michael Wallace: Yes, they let me watch the shows on tv. At least it gives me a chance to get to see you, aside from our time on Skype.
*Michael gets up from the sofa and goes over to the fireplace mantel and takes a small trophy from it. He goes back to the sofa and hands the trophy to Jackson with a smile.*
Michael Wallace: I have something to show you. This is the trophy I earned in soccer. My team is now top in our league. We won the championship for this year!
Jackson Kent: That's great! Great job, too bad I didn't get to see you win the championship.
Michael Wallace: Are you proud of me for winning it?
Jackson Kent: Yes I am very proud of you.
Michael Wallace: I'm glad. So tell me about the big summer pay per view! You're gonna be in the Battle Royal for the title right?!
Jackson Kent: Yes I will be in the Battle Royal match for the title.
Michael Wallace: I really hope you win it. I know how hard you work. Do you still have Janie Carver as your personal trainer?
Jackson Kent: Yeah I do work hard, Janie is still by my side pushing me to my goals and making sure I stay on track.
Michael Wallace: I have all faith in you Jackson. I always have. Once you set your mind to something, there's no turning back for you, and this will be no different. What would it mean to you if you became the champion?
Jackson Kent: To me it would mean the world to me, it would mean that all my hard work has paid off. Also that all the heartaches I have gone through in this business will have been worth it. It will mean that I'm at the top of the company and every one will have their eyes set on me. That's the only downfall of being on top. There is a long line ready to try to knock you down.
Michael Wallace: But every time you get knocked down, you always get back up.
Jackson Kent: Exactly! That's with anything in life, when you get knocked down get back up and keep pushing through.
**The delicious aroma from the baking going on in the kitchen gets the attention of Michael.**
Michael Wallace: She's baking chocolate chip cookies! Mmmm. It must have been a long trip for you. Are you hungry for lunch?
Jackson Kent: Yeah it was quite a trip, including the airport losing my luggage so they're supposed to give me a call when they find it. As far as lunch, yes I am hungry.
Michael Wallace: Then I say we go into the kitchen, get some lunch to take out onto the back patio and we'll eat out there. And while we're at it, we'll snatch some of those cookies Mom is baking!
Jackson Kent: Sounds good. Let's go.
**The two start towards the kitchen as the scene fades out.**
Scene 2
**The scene opens up at a local gym where Janie Carver fresh off her flight has met Jackson Kent. As Janie walks in Jackson is already in the process of working out.**
Janie Carver: Getting right down to it I see...Great to see! And here I thought you didn't workout as much when I'm not around.
Jackson Kent: After the damn airport losing my luggage and with this huge opportunity before me, I needed to release some frustration. Yes I do work out when you're not around, maybe not as much as when you are but I do.
**Janie put her travel bag down on the bench, then broke open a bottle of cold water and sat down.**
Janie Carver: I'm really looking forward to this battle royal Jackson. This opportunity is something you really deserve. And it's every man for himself!
Jackson Kent: Every man for himself means there's no friends or allies, which ultimately works in my favor. I have no friends here and no allies. I am excited for this huge opportunity to become the top man in the company, to prove to everyone I belong here in this business and this company in general. After all I am the main one around bringing fans into the arena. I will walk out of this Battle Royal as the winner and new champion.
Janie Carver: If you win this, it will be the biggest victory of your career to date.
**Janie has all confidence that Jackson can win this match if he's focused enough on it. She knows he is ready as he will ever be.**
Janie Carver: The fans are really behind you on this one. That signing you had this week had an amazing turnout for you. Weren't you impressed by the show of support?
Jackson Kent: My fans are the best of the best, so I expected a great turnout. The turnout to the signing exceeded my expectations though.
Janie Carver: So you know what this means then? It means you can't let them down. You have to take this world title for your own. Then you will give it the true honor that it deserves.
Jackson Kent: I know what I have to do and yes I will bring it the honor that it deserves.
**After finishing his set of deadlifts, Jackson goes to the bench and takes a drink of water.**
Janie Carver: How long have you been here working out anyway?
Jackson Kent: 3 hours.
Janie Carver: That's enough for today then Jackson. They won't find a more dedicated superstar in SFT than you. But now, it's time for you to go get a shower, then we'll go find somewhere to eat a light lunch. Sound like a plan FUTURE CHAMP?
Jackson Kent: Sure, sounds like a plan. I love the sound of that future champ stuff.
**They both leave the gym together after Jackson gets a shower, then they head out to get some lunch as the scene fades out.**
