[][][][][][][][][][] REMOVE THE VENOM [][][][][][][][][][]
Tuesday Night Titans… July 17th, 2018… the world witnesses the first ever professional wrestling match between Robert Saints and Jaime Reyes. While that may not seem special on paper… in the history books, it will be an important moment. That's the moment when the world realizes that I truly am Undeniable. That's the moment when I remove the venom from the viper… and he strikes no more.
I haven't been to the future or anything. I just have an overwhelmingly positive outlook of my potential here in Strike Fantasy Towers. That's why I have so boldly stated time and again that I am going to beat this guy and that guy and that other guy. It's not arrogance if you back it up. That's the difference between Robert Saints and myself. He went all out about how he was going to beat Emerson last time on Titans. And then he lost.
I said I was going to beat Jackson Kent and Jamo… and then I did. If I had any doubts, I wouldn't have been so brash about my feelings toward that match. I believe in myself, and I believe that I will beat Robert Saints. Sure, he could surprise me. He could hit that Viper Cutter outta somewhere and keep me down long enough for a three count. It would have to be one hell of a strike to keep me down.
I have been beaten before. So many times. It's not impossible to defeat me. Right now… under these circumstances… it's improbable to defeat me. Robert Saints is next in line to try and inevitably fail. It's going to take more than a Viper Cutter to keep me down. Maybe two or three consecutively would work. My shoulders are trained to not stay down very long. It takes a lot to convince them otherwise.
Once this is over… I have my eyes set on Back to Reality. There is some kind of huge match with everyone involved… for the SFT World Championship. I don't know the specifics of that match… but I do know that I'm all in. No matter who is involved, I will do everything I can to walk out champion. If I fail, so be it. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
Also, Rumpke… I'm still coming for you…

[The scene opens outside of a local comic book shop in San Diego. There's a lengthy line of people, mostly men, leading into the shop. A sign by the entrance reads, “International Wrestling Superstar Jamie Reyes.” The man himself is at the table, seated next to local shop owner Rick Dalton.]
JR: You couldn't have at least spelled my first name right?
RD: I did.
JR: J-a-i-m-e.
RD: Yeah. That's what the sign says.
JR: Are you dyslexic?
RD: A little.
JR: Nevermind then. Hey, what's your name, kid?
Kid: Billy.
JR: Nice to meet you, Billy. “To Billy. Stay Undeniable. Jaime.” Thanks for coming out, Billy.
[Fast forward to the end of the line, two hours after the signing was supposed to be over. Jaime refused to leave until everyone got something signed. Rick begins taking down promotional material… and Jaime helps out.]
JR: Thanks for letting me do this signing, Rick. It was a good time.
RD: No, thank you, Jaime. The shop made a ton of money. I mean… uhh… shit.
JR: What's the matter?
RD: Normally when a signing does good business for me, I end up losing a lot of money anyway.
JR: I told you from the start, man. Flat fee. You keep profits from everything. We're good.
RD: Are you sure? You skipped a break, stayed two extra hours. Let me at least give you something extra.
JR: Tell ya what. Hook me up with that Mad Dogg action figure over there and we're good.
RD: Are you sure? It's not even signed. Probably worth nothing by now.
JR: I know a guy who knows a guy who knows Mad Dogg's cousin's neighbor. It's a long story.
RD: You got yourself a deal, Jaime. It's refreshing to see a wrestler who is still a wrestling fan at heart. We've had plenty of signings here, and most guys seem so jaded.
JR: Nothing for me to be jaded about. I've got a great job. Big things are on the horizon. I might be getting a side hustle out east. Life is good, my friend.
RD: I saw you signed with SFT and started watching shain. It's been years since I've tuned in. It's much different than I remember. Not necessarily bad. Just… different…
JR: I hear ya. It runs at a much slower pace than “the good ol’ days.” When I had my tryout in ‘02… the roster was 60 deep… they had a handful of weekly shows… like a dozen championships. Now… it's 10 deep… a bi-monthly show… somehow three championships. There's a lot of room for growth. Hopefully I can help with that. I mean… I get paid no matter what… but I'd like the company to be successful. That brings my stock way up and gives me more opportunities. That side hustle I mentioned… that came about because of my resurgence in American wrestling… which is thanks to SFT signing me. They're taking good care of me… and even put me in a singles match next week against a multi-time former champion.
RD: Oh. Who is that?
JR: Robert Saints.
RD: Oh. Who... is that?
JR: If you watched last week… he's the guy who got mollywhopped by Emerson.
RD: Ooooohhhh. Yeah, that guy. Is that the best they could give you?
JR: No. Not at all. But it's a step in the right direction. There's a big, big pay per view match coming up where I could win the SFT World Championship… so that's cool. I just have to beat Robert Saints first.
RD: If last week was any indication… I like your chances of beating him.
JR: Same. Enough about him. Soon enough, he'll be old news. If there's anything I can do to help out around here, let me know. I actually live a few blocks away.
RD: Actually… San Diego Comic Con is next weekend… and I was wondering if you'd be a guest at our booth.
JR: I planned on going anyway, so yeah, I'm in. Look at that. Another side hustle. I'm all over the board, man.
RD: I appreciate it. As you know… brick and mortar shops are a dying breed. Damn internet has been kicking my ass for a few years now. Having you as a sort of… ambassador… could be just the boost this place needs.
JR: Like I said… anything I can do to help.
[Rick goes over to the wall of t-shirts and grabs one, handing it to Jaime.]
RD: What are you, double-x?
JR: This'll work. It's official. Undeniable Jaime Reyes is the Ambassador for All-Star Comics.
[The two men shake hands as the scene fades away…]
