SFT Presents: Tuesday Night Titans (07/17/2018)

After a few more moments the giant screen above the ring ramp blasts into action, and the music of Chris Cornell suddenly fill the entire area as Titans is now officially on air.

RW: It’s all about me!

JC: It’s Tuesday Night Titans… I’m your host John Cartright, and alongside me…

RW: Is the sole commentator for our up and coming ppv, oh yeah!

JC: For the love of all that is holy Randy, what makes you think that it’s you who’s going to get to call the ppv?

RW: I just know it, I’ve got that special feeling deep down inside me John!

JC: Yeah, well maybe I’ve got a special feeling inside me as well?

RW: Well you shouldn’t eat so much junk food should you!

JC: Guys we have a fantastic card for you tonight. In our main event Louis Cypher will attempt to win a second belt when he takes on Rumpke for the Hardcore Title.

RW: Not only that the IC title is on the line as one of the 3 other matches we have tonight. This is gonna be good John.

JC: And don’t forget people, this is the last Titans before our PPV in 2 weeks’ time, where SFT will be going “Back To Reality”. A ppv in a barn of all places where anyone who wants a shot at the title… gets a shot.

RW: With me, the only commentator for the night.

JC: So settle down folks, grab yourself some iced tea and get ready for what promises to be another amazing episode of Tuesday Night Titans.

The music slowly dies down as the fans continue to cheer. After a few moments the fans start to quiet down, and as has become customary the camera slowly zooms in to the announcers table where Randy is staring at John intensely….

RW: It’s gonna be me!

JC: Says who?

RW: Says me….

JC: Well good luck with that Randy.

RW: I know Glenn is going to pick me, I mean he simple has too…

JC: Yeah of course darling, lets just get on with the show shall we.

RW: Well, what are you waiting for? God John you are useless sometimes!

RW: crazy crazy match.

JC: Great match though.

RW: For those of you just tuning in, Jamo and Intercontinental Champion Jackson Kent made their entrances during the break.

JC: I'm more surprised that they are in the building, than the fact that their entrances were cut for time. When was the last time we got an Intercontinental Title match on Titans?

RW: It feels like a lifetime ago, John. Nevertheless, here we go!

After the referee hands the championship to a stagehand outside of the ring, he calls for the opening bell. Both champion and challenger instantly start trading blows. Neither man seems to gain advantage as the action spills out onto the floor. The referee starts his count.

JC: Oooooh. Here we go again. Another match determined by count out? Why not just stay home?!

RW: Relax, man. You don't know the outcome of the match.

JC: These guys are disrespecting the heritage of the Intercontinental Championship!

Once the referee reaches a count of three, the StrikeTron lights up and we see Undeniable Jaime Reyes smiling wide on the screen. His presence distracts Jackson and Jamo, who temporarily stop fighting and look up at the screen.

Jaime Reyes: Look at you two. Fighting over a championship that should be mine. Remember two weeks ago when I beat ya both in that very ring?

Referee: …

six...

seven...

eight...

Jaime Reyes: Looks like you boys need a kick back to reality...

Referee: …

nine...

ten!

The bell rings and the two competitors throw their arms up in the air, having been tricked by Reyes.

RESULT: DOUBLE COUNT OUT

RW: Well, for a countout decision... at least it was an interesting one.

Jaime Reyes: Let this be a warning to the both of you, especially you, Jackson. Either man up... or give up that belt. It seems like a broken record, me saying that. I sincerely hope to see you both at Back to Reality in the Top Rope Battle Royal. It will be a pleasure to beat you both... again.

The video on the StrikeTron fades away...

JC: I'm with Reyes. That title is beautiful and it deserves better.

JC: Jaime dont call me Jamie Reyes is set and ready to rock and roll.


Line in the Sand by Motorhead plays over the arena as Robert Saints and his wife Kelly Robinson make their way out to the entrance ramp as red pyro hits down the sides of the entrance ramp making it's way towards the ring as Robert Saints and his wife Kelly Robinson now make their way down the entrance ramp to the ring. Robert Saints bounces onto the ring apron and then enters between the top and middle ropes into the ring as Kelly Robinson stands up onto the ring apron and does her trademark split under the bottom rope and then Kelly Robinson exits the ring and waits in her husband's corner.

JC: Tonight has been full of ups and downs, lets see what these 2 men can do tonight against one another.

They stand toe to toe as the bell sounds off.

RW: Here we go!

Jaime starts it off with a running elbow followed by a European uppercut then a could of chops to the chest of Robert. Prompting whoos from the crowd. Jaime with a side kick then a quick DDT! He wastes no time climbing the turnbuckle and flies off with his shooting star press, but it was way too early and Robert lifts his knees and catches Jaime full blast in the ribs!

JC: oh no, man that was wicked to witness.

Robert now on the offense side as he kicks Jaime a few times then a rolling thunder that would make Konnan proud. He follows it up with a Garvin stomp then as Jaime is getting up he nails him with a running big boot right in the neck!

RW: Well thats a different type of high five hahaha

Robert stands up Jaime and completes a double arm DDT!

JC: Whoa!

Robert turns Jaime over and covers him the ref counts

kickout!

JC: Jaime kicks out at the last possible instant.

RW: That was really close.

Robert starts and locks in a figure four leg lock that would make Ric Flair jealous.

RW: Jaime is in trouble!

Jaime is intense amount of pain as he is swinging back and forth but the ropes seem a thousand miles away.

JC: I think he is going to tap out.

RW: He will have to before Robert ends up breaking a knee or bone in Jaime’s leg.

Jaime steadies himself as he begins a slow clutch and crawl towards the ropes as it is evident once again he is in a lot of pain.

JC: How long can he hold on?

RW: Only god knows.

But for some strange reason Robert tries to get a better grasp and Jaime manages to slip free! Jaime is up outside the ropes as quick as a bat.

JC: Lucky guy.

Robert is angry with himself as he curses up to the ceiling.

RW: Yeah that was a mistake.

After a minute or two Jaime enters the ring tentatively, Robert kicks him with a high knee and hits a DDT!

JC: I think it might be over!

Robert covers Jaime and the ref counts

RW: Noooooooo

Robert stays enough is enough he climbs the rope and appears to be going for a top rope elbow drop! As he flies off Jaime rolls out of the way and Robert gets nothing but mat, Jaime quickly flies off the second rope and hits him with a makeshift flying clothesline! He now covers Robert and the ref counts

WINNER: JAMIE REYES

JC: Jaime Reyes wins in a close contest.

RW: Great match actually.

RW: They sure dont have a lot of respect for the man who holds such coveted gold in SFT.

JC: Respect is earned not given.

RW: Id say he’s earned it and is gonna earn it some more tonight.

JC: That aint no lie.

"Born to Raise Hell" by Motorhead hits as Rumpke the current Hardcore Champion comes down to the ring to a mix of both boos and cheers.

RW: Have you noticed whats around the ring?

JC: Around the ring? (he looks over and see all the weapons lying around) oh my!

Both men stand in the ring as the bell sounds off. As it does. Cypher kicks Rumpke with one of his boots, Rumpke goes to the ground holding his chest!

RW: What the?

JC: hes got on steel tip boots!

RW: Well thats a nice how do you do? Haha

Cypher advances but Rumpke pulls a small wrench out of his boots and flings it at Cypher hitting him in the arm!

JC: Turn around is fair play.

RW: This is going to be one violent match.

Cypher and Rumpke lock up test of strength with Rumpke winning but Cypher breaks it with a knee to the midsection followed by an elbow to the head. We see ring personal start throwing things in the ring, Cypher grabs a kendo stick and breaks it over Rumpkes back!

RW: nice nice!

Rumpke though is playing possum as Cypher advances, Rumpke grabs a steel stop sign and flings it hitting Cypher right in the head knocking him down and out!

JC: whoa!

Rumpke runs and covers Cypher as the ref and crowd count

kickout!

RW: This is insane!

JC: How long can they keep this up?

RW: Well generally hardcore matches are short and sweet.

Rumpke grabs a baseball bat and climbs the turnbuckles and flies off with it nailing a makeshift elbow drop but with the baseball.

JC: Guess we can call that a bat drop?

RW: Baseball drop?

JC: How bout we just call it “Thats gotta hurt!”

RW: I like it hahaha

Rumpke now with a frying pan and lays it on Cyphers face and stomps him with it!

RW: Rumpke getting super violent tonight.

JC: I had to turnr away I couldnt bare to watch that.

Rumpke goes up top again, this time with pane glass window.

RW: Whats he going to do?

He patiently waits for Cypher to slowly stand up and he flies off shattering the glass on his head. Tiny pieces of glass fly everywhere! AS the crowd ohhhs and asssss at the sheer violence, loving every minute of it.

Cypher is starting to bleed from his face. Cuts everywhere. Blood is getting on his eyes and its making it hard for him to see. He is on the ground and is just trying to grab hold of anything, Rumpke has picked up a kendo stick of his own and is advancing on Cypher, but Cypher grabs a baseball bat and swings back like Rumpke had done earlier and he connects on a wild swing.

RW: Rumpke hits the mat hard with that wild swing from Cypher.

Cypher half blind and blood all over his face somehow covers Rumpke the ref counts

3!!!

WINNER: LOUIS CYPHER

JC: Whoa, Cypher just won the Hardcore title!

RW: now he is the world champ and Hardcore champ! Totally insane!

JC: Guys it's been a truly amazing night here on Titans, but that's about all we have time for now. But in 2 weeks time, don't forget we go "Back To Reality", in what promises to be the most unique show that SFT has ever put on...

RW: It only one commentator can be there, and it will be me, you just know folks it will be me!
