[][][][][][][][][][] SOY UN PERDEDOR [][][][][][][][][][]
Previously on Tuesday Night Titans... I made my in-ring debut in SFT and lost... to Twilight. Sure, I wasn't the one pinned... and it almost seemed like Twilight was saving me from a loss to Mr. Amazing. Nevertheless... I was not victorious in my in-ring debut.
Well, televised in-ring debut. I had a dark match ages ago against Aj Nin Red Rum... but that was a lifetime ago. What matters now... is that I am officially un-undefeated in SFT. I have an opportunity to even my record out this coming week on Titans. Will my un-undefeated streak continue or will I live up to my potential?
Only time will tell.
Ehhhh... I hate catch phrases. I'm pretty sure I stole that from someone anyway. What I do care about... is working hard and treating people with respect. That will be my mission next week as I take on Jackson Kent and Jamo in yet another random triple threat match.
Anything can happen in a triple threat match. As seen last week... I could lose a match without even losing a match... again. Jackson Kent could pin Jamo... Jamo could pin Jackson Kent. One thing is for sure... nobody can get disqualified or counted out.
That means that anything goes, right? I like the sound of that. Just three dudes going out there and doing what they do. I look forward to showing SFT that I am worth the hefty contract they threw at me. I don't mean to brag... but... they've got a lot invested in me... and I don't want to disappoint.
Thus far in my SFT career... soy un perdedor. I have one loss and zero wins. That doesn't look good... but I can do better. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow... but one day, and for the rest of my life.
Aaaaaggghhh. Again with catchphrases. I need to lay off the Baja Blast... but I feel like it was named after me. That was my nickname in little league. My coach came up with it... and it just stuck. Nicknames mean a lot to me when they're not self-given.
More on that to come.
So... Jackson Kent versus Jamo versus Jaime Reyes... eh? That's a lot of Js in one match. I wonder if that was intentional. I wonder if I'm the only one to notice that. I wonder if that even matters at all.
I wonder a lot of things.
Caffeine.
[][][][][][][][][][] JACKSON KENT [][][][][][][][][][]
You sure are a tall drink of water. From what I've seen... you're young, hungry... and you have all the potential in the world to be "the man" around this place. You've been on this planet as long as I've been lacing up my boots. If I were a gambling man, I would put my money on me in this match.
But... in the wild world of professional wrestling... anything is possible. I've taken an opponent's inexperience for granted before... and failed miserably. I will not make that mistake again. I have every reason to believe that you... Big Kent... could defeat me at Tuesday Titans next week.
Kent... I respect your drive and determination. I want you to succeed in this business. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness. I will do everything I can to walk out victorious. I came up short in my SFT debut... and that is eating me up inside. While I did not take the fall... I still lost.
Does that make me a loser? Perhaps. Would a second consecutive loss make me a loser? Perhaps. There's a chance that I will forever be placed in random triple threat matches and always end up the one not getting pinned.
Call me the odd man out, if you will. That's what I was last week, and I will do everything I can to not be that again next week.
[][][][][][][][][][] JAMO [][][][][][][][][][]
You're a man with a lot of nicknames, I see. Psycho Monster. Hardcore Legend. Master of Nightmares. I guarantee you came up with those yourself. That's cool, I guess. Nicknames mean more when they come from peers or adversaries... but it's your life.
There's something very familiar about you. Maybe it's the way you paint your face. Maybe it's your in ring style. Maybe it's the fact that I have wrestled hundreds of guys just like you. All the talent in the world... and not a clue how normal brains function. All this talk of dreams and nightmares and deleting... it's nonsense.
Just go out there... work hard... and you'll accomplish great things. Put away all of the silly catch phrases... and focus on what's important: you being the best you can possibly be. That's the Jamo I want to see next week at Titans. If I defeat some halfass version of Jamo... that does nothing for the momentum I am looking to build here in SFT.
So please, Jamo. Bring your A game. I promise to bring nothing less than mine as well. Along with Jackson Kent... we'll give the fans something special... or die trying.
Just kidding, man. I don't plan to die for a long, long time. I was just testing out a catch phrase... and I hated it.
Move along.
Nothing to see here.
[][][][][][][][][][] BACK TO REALITY [][][][][][][][][][]
I know that I am new to this company... and I've got a lot to prove. There is one thing I want to prove to myself... and that is that I can take on the best of the best... and beat him at his own game.
There is a man roaming around this place, who is at the top of his game when the rule book is thrown out the window.
That man is Rumpke.
He is the SFT Hardcore Champion... and for good reason. When push comes to shove, he always shoves back. He stands down from no challenge and will fight until his last breathe. I have the utmost respect for Rumpke... and that is why I am laying out a challenge.
Tuesday, July 30th... SFT presents Back to Reality. Jaime Reyes versus Rumpke for the SFT Hardcore Championship.
I will become a champion in the near future. I have no doubt about that.
It would be an honor to beat Rumpke at his own game.
The ball is in your court, SFT.
Let's give the fans something memorable.
