SFT Presents: Tuesday Night Titans (06/19/2018)

RW: Welcome everyone, and boy we have a great show in store for you tonight.

JC: No kidding, 2 titles are on the line tonight, as well as 2 further matches. We have a tag team match and a triple threat match.

RW: It’s one hell of a line up.

JC: So without further chat, let’s get this show on the road shall we….

The crowd dies down after a few minutes as the music fades. After a few more moments the camera zooms into John and Randy. Randy is staring dead pan in front of him as John await for him to say something.

JC: Have you nothing to say then Randy?

RW: No!

JC: Really?

RW: No, I’m not in the mood this week….

Both me stay silent for a moment.

JC: Well, that has to be a first. I never thought I would see the day! Ok, on with the show…

RW: That was it, Emerson got sneaky and caught Andrew sleeping.

JC: That was pretty ingenious. Emerson playing possum.

RW: What a jif!

JC: Big time, we want a real match, a rematch asap!

Twilights music hits as he makes his way down to the ring. To a nice mix of boos and cheers but really mostly cheers.

RW: His storytelling has become impressive. I love hearing about his past lives.

JC: its all hooplah, he’s just a kid with an overactive imagination.

RW: Bet you say that about your own kid. Hahaha

Twilight gets in the ring as they both wait for the newcomer.

Be Undeniable by Hell Yeah hits as Jaime Reyes makes his way to the ring.

JC: well lets see what this new guy can do.

All three are in the ring as the bell sounds off.

RW: And away we go!

Jaime starts it off with a running European uppercut on both Twilight and Amazing. Jaime with a rolling gutwrench on Mr. Amazing. He tries to go for a cover but Twilight breaks it up at 1!.

As Jaime is getting up he is kicks in the midsection by Mr. Amazing. Mr. Amazing quickly gets up and hits a DDT on Jaime!

JC: Wow!

Mr. Amazing goes for the cover the ref counts

JC: Twilight with the save?!

RW: Not exactly, watch.

Twilight now stands up Mr. Amazing and sets up and hits a russian leg sweep, Twilight covers Amazing the ref counts

JC: Twilight smiles and exits the ring as we cut to commercial.

JC: Well you know, time flies when you’re having fun.

RW: Just call the damn show John for goodness sake!

Suddenly “Aqua Tuta” by Kashtin hits the PA system.

RW: Oh my, we know that music!

The crowd get to their feat quickly and all eyes are fixed upon the curtain. Suddenly Glenn Owen appears from behind and makes his way purposefully to the ring.

He walks straight to the ring and straight away signals for his music to be cut. He grabs a microphone and starts pacing around the ring as the fans are still going nuts…..

Owen: I’ve cancelled the main event!

RW: What?

JC: Why?

The crowd start to boo extremely loudly.

Owen: I’m sick and tired of the same thing, week in and week out. I basically grew up in this federation. I lived and breathed it for what seemed like a age. Back in those days, if you didn’t put the effort in, you would be gone. End of, period, good night, turn the damn lights off and don’t look back on your way out! But these days, oh how things are so different!

JC: He’s right Randy

RW: Maybe, but why is this all coming out now?

Owen: Maybe I’m just cut from a different cloth, I don’t know. Maybe I’m too hard on people? But the way I see it is like this…… if you don’t want to put the effort in, then why be here at all? The fans deserve more, the federation deserves more, and quite frankly I would rather shut this place down than become a dying relic that is only a ghost of its former glory….

The crowd start to cheer.

Owen: In 6 weeks’ time people, we go back to reality. A PPV that is designed by me for a simple purpose. It’s being held in the middle of nowhere for a reason…. It’s designed to take us all back to our roots. Because when the lights are turned off and the crowd has died down, it’s only then that the true men and women with the real heart and soul of champions will emerge. Then and only then will we see who has the right stuff. Then and only then will the SFT fans know who performs for them. Because this business should not be and has never been about glory. It’s about guts and determination. Champions should fight to the death, not just turn up to wrestle whenever the f**king hell they feel like it….

The fans are now cheering louder than they have done all night.

Owen: I’m giving you all a chance to shine. I’m giving you all an opportunity that people like me were never afforded…. DON’T WASTE IT. Because if you do you’re wasting your time, you’re wasting my time…. And if that happens but one more time…..That my fiends I promise you, will be the end of me.

Glenn Owen drops the microphone and his music hits the PA system once again. He turns and makes his way up the ramp without acknowledging the crowd until he has disappeared behind the curtain.

JC: My goodness me, those are some strong words indeed from our producer.

RW: Maybe too strong, I don’t want this guy to go.

JC: It’s looks like Back to Reality could easily become Judgement day! Either way it’s turning out to be the most important show of our modern age.

RW: That John is probably the wisest thing you have said today!

JC: Ladies and gentleman, it’s been an interesting night, but sadly our time has come to an end. Make sure you tune in next time for another episode of Tuesday Night Titans. Until then good night, and god bless.
