The used to be this old merry go round in Willow Park, it was a quaint park right on the outskirts of San Antonio. On this particular merry go round, it is painted a bit stranger than most. Most merry go rounds are painted red and blue, just simple colors. This one though, probably built in the 20s or 30s is painted with figures of children, by each steel rail there is a shadow of a child, each in a pose of horror. Looking up at the sky as if something were coming for them. It is quite eerie and I would like to post a picture one day soon so you all can see just what it is I am referring to. My final mother used to bring me here as a child. She used to say that it was a park from the twilight zone.
Anyway as I was in this area again passing by and decided to stop by and low and behold they were still here. It was so strange seeing this. But by the low and behold it still survives. It survives like SFT survives. What was the world Shadow used to use, win by attrition. Survive by attrition would be more like it.
Cypher I was the first to congrulate you backstage after the win was I not? Its not something that is public knowledge. You and I are far different creatures from what is left in SFT. And although we are not in the leagues of Rumpke and Jude or Redd, we are by all means the ones who keep this heart pumping, guys like that may be relics that are better suited for museums. But the fans still flock to them. But for the day to day guys its us. Well more like me, you take too many weeks off each month.
Anyway back to the point. You touched on quite a few things. And you were right quite a lot. Normally I would of spoken up last week. But things being as they are. I have been extemely busy with life outside the ring. And it just happened to land on a bad stretch for me. It happens to the best of us. As it is now happening to me.
So please excuse my tardiness. It was not my intention to show you any disrespect. I was simply tied up and even now I look at the clock and I see my time running out. I will try my best to bust out another promo before deadline but this is something I cannot promise. But I will try my best and that is a promise.
So Cypher enjoy your title for now, it may not be yours for long. Its much easier to win the title than to keep the title, ask anyone.
