The scene opens to Cassandra having a talk with her teenage son Sevyn in the kitchen of their home.
Cassandra: So your birthday is coming up and I need to know what you want for your birthday gift.
Sevyn Destiny: Oh I don't know Mom. To be honest, I haven't really thought much about my birthday. I don't really need anything right now.
Cassandra: Not the answer I was looking for. I need some ideas because I can't think of anything you would enjoy and neither can your father. We're completely stuck on what to get you.
Sevyn Destiny: Well, the only thing I can think of would be to take me out to dinner somewhere, then maybe a new pair of jeans and a shirt?
She thinks for a moment.
Cassandra: Alright, that sounds good. Any suggestions where you wanna go for dinner?
Sevyn Destiny: The new restaurant downtown that opened two weeks ago would be great. I've heard really good things about it from my friends who have gone there.
Cassandra: Okay we can do that. I'll get that arranged and I'll take you to get the jeans and the shirt, that way you can pick out what you like and try stuff on.
Sevyn Destiny: Can I come along with you today when you go to the gym? I wanna work out with you. I've been enjoying looking in the mirror and seeing the muscle tone forming on my arms and legs now that I'm working out more.
Cassandra: Yes of course you can come with me. I'm so proud of you for the dedication you're putting into maintaining healthy habits.
Sevyn Destiny: I'm proud myself too after seeing the results I'm getting with it.
She smiles at her son, then she makes something clear to him.
Cassandra: But just to be clear, you're still gonna get a birthday cake. I know it's classified as junk food in the sugar department, but your birthday is an exception to the rule. You will get your cake like you do every year.
Sevyn Destiny: Vanilla?
Cassandra: Sure.
Sevyn's cellphone starts to ring and he answers it. It is his friend asking him to meet up at the mall to check out the latest video games that have arrived at their favorite gaming store.
Sevyn Destiny: I'm going to the mall for a while, but I'll be back by dinner.
Cassandra: You better be. I'm making a new mixed veggie dish with beef and I want you to try it.
Her son leaves to go to the mall. Cassandra then looks at the camera with a smirk.
Cassandra: You see all of this, Emerson? This is my life. I have a son who makes me happy and proud. He is growing and maturing so fast and is sure to turn out to be a fine young man. Unlike you Emerson. There is nothing fine about you. You are nothing but a disgrace and a loser.
Cassandra: You have nothing in your life that truly makes you happy and fulfilled. That is why you want my IC title so badly. You think it is going to fill the big void that is in your life and provide you with happiness and joy. But you can keep on wanting my title Emerson...because you are not going to get it.
Cassandra: So many people on this roster have tried their best to take everything that I have earned away from me, just for the sake of taking it from me. Just for the sake of trying to bring me pain and to make me miserable. And now here you are trying to do the same thing. You would just LOVE to beat me this week and take the IC title from me simply for the pleasure of doing it.
Cassandra: Well, newsflash for you Emerson....I AM NOT GOING TO ALLOW YOU THAT SATISFACTION.
She now has a serious look on her face.
Cassandra: You are going to fall and FALL HARD Emerson....just like all the others have before you. I am going to make you sorry you ever showed up to our match. Bank on it.
The scene fades out.
