The scene opens to Cassandra sitting at dinner with her son Sevyn. Tonight they have ordered in some chicken from KFC, but only because Sevyn really wanted to have it. Cassandra does not eat greasy food like this, rarely. She stays on the healthy side of things and watches what she puts into her body.
Sevyn Destiny: This chicken is awesome and the fries too! I haven't had this in forever!
Cassandra: That's because you're not allowed to have it much at all. It's not healthy for you. Baked chicken is much better, but this fried up bird, not so much.
The teenager chuckles at his mother's very disciplined eating habits.
Sevyn Destiny: Who are you fighting this week?
Cassandra: Mr. Travis "Sleepy Head" Hall.
Sevyn Destiny: Sleepy Head?
Cassandra: Yep. He hasn't said a word publicly about our title match coming up and that makes it look like he just doesn't give a damn about it.
Sevyn Destiny: Well maybe he's keeping quiet for a reason. Like, maybe he's trying to psych you out with silence.
Cassandra: Oh please. Travis could never have such an effect on me in that way, and furthermore, he's not smart enough to find a way to psych me out. I really think he's just doing this to get attention from everyone.
Sevyn Destiny: Well at least when you get attention from everyone, it's because of a really good reason. Like when you win championships, everyone talks about it and takes notice.
Cassandra: And even when I'm not a champ, I'm STILL getting much of the attention and that's because the fans know how great I am! Much better than what "sleeping at the wheel" Travis will ever get.
Sevyn starts to smile as he has just thought of something funny.
Sevyn Destiny: I just thought of something... Maybe when the bell rings to start your match, it will wake up Travis.
Cassandra smiles.
Cassandra: Maybe, or maybe not. No matter. I will beat him either way. He's a loser just like the others who have already fallen to me. Only difference is he is much more of a loser than the others.
Suddenly the doorbell rings. Sevyn goes to answer it and it's his good friend Andy. He has come over to play some video games with Sevyn. The boys head into the dining room.
Cassandra: Hey Andy. We have some KFC chicken left over. You want some?
Andy: No thanks. I ate already.
Sevyn Destiny: I'm done eating, so me and Andy are gonna go play some video games.
Cassandra: Alright, but please no yelling while you guys are playing. I have a slight headache and I don't want it to get worse. I want a quiet night in, so keep it down.
Sevyn Destiny: Okay Mom.
The two boys leave the dining room to go play video games in the recreation room. Cassandra plans to put the leftover chicken and salads into the fridge, then go into the living room to go rest on the sofa and watch a movie.
The scene fades out.
