There are times in life where everything is just as it is supposed to be. Happy and healthy. They are RARE moments....but still....
...society seems so self involved with those norms..
The truth is we suffer a great deal more than we care to admit. But you have heard, we have all heard, those barbaric yelps from lunacy. Yet we put on a strong front.
Like that saying goes, "like a duck on a pond." At first glance...sure , the duck gliding over serene water is obviously not the whole truth. For as calm and serene as we may observe his appearance, there is a turbulent churning going on underneath the surface.
And like the duck, we humans have incorporated this behavior. We put on a strong front while our inner turmoil rambles on.
This is normal...why? I don't know!
Why do we not share our painful problems with each other?
Some would say it is so as not to burden those around us with more complications, but I have a different take as to the why.
Deep down we need to carry that cancerous baggage with us. It's what makes us strong. It's what we need to keep going. If there is nothing that we overcome, there is nothing you can feel a sense of accomplishment about. The more you suffer, the sweeter the taste of victory.
So we hold on to all that horrible, terrible and hideous inner suffering for selfish victories. But don't worry Jackie Jones, there will be no inner turmoil for you this week. Your suffering will be publicly displayed for all to see. And all will see your demise at my hands.
