What a waste of time and energy. sitting on the edge of greatness and immortality. And yet no end in sight. Where has all hope and worthwhile things to do gone?

...in Travis' car repair garage....or have we become so simplistic and unmotivated as to accept that as an epic journey or worthy of mention.??
I wait and ponder such things all the time. Seems to be all I do these days. Here we are at the back end of a pandemic, jumping into an inevitable recession. Gas prices, food prices and everything else under these dark skies soaring out of control. And through this struggle we Americans are drowning in, our government finds it patriotic to send aid(40 billion dollars worth) on a weekly basis to Ukraine.
Don't get me wrong. I'm all for democracy, but hey....how about helping us out first. Isn't it a government by the people...for the people?
These elected politicians are voted into office by us so that they may stand up for what us voters want and need. But as soon as they set foot in office they plot and scheme for things they want. Push for their beliefs. NOT ours..Theirs!!!
Only their corporate sell out agenda's seem to matter to them. Why should we sit idly by and take it? Why are we not up in arms about this?
These are the things that I sit and contemplate. Fixing a crappy car is so provincial and below the bar of important things to do. So go ahead and keep paying attention to your little vehicle Travis. And the rest of us will continue with the important things in life.
