They say pain is just a reminder. That there can be no life without pain and no pain without life. I think thats just a load of you know what.
I live. I feel, I hurt, I love, I hate, I am all. And yet here I still stand. Fists in the air and screaming at the top of my lungs. I will not yield. I will not bend. Do your worst, I will overcome, I will survive. No matter how many lives I have lived, no matter how many times I have died. I am and always will be defiant.
We all know there are people in the world who dont care about anything, or anyone. They only understand what it is they want and need. They never think about anyone else. And its no way to live. If all you care about is yourself, and never take into consideration anyone else, or anything else, then thats just no way to live. You have to give yourself to something. Something higher, be it a cause, a way of thinking, a way of life, giving yourself to something more. Its not a bad way to live, or a bad way to be. You just have to want it. You have to want to be better than you are now. Its hard, but its not that hard. Be better, strive for it, want it, dont lie to others or yourself.
I've been around long enough to know what happens when the world comes to an end. And you know what happens? The world doesnt really end. It goes on. It just goes on without you. Whether you want to understand it or not. The world does not revolve around each of us. And while we are all the center of our own universes, it is when you finally get to the understanding that when our stories end, others start and others continue.
So this goes out to Emerson and Mr. Amazing. We have been here since the reboot. But what happens now? We've been going on for some time and we seem bored, and yes new people to fight would be nice. But the story goes on with or without us. Question should be are we part of the solution or part of the problem? Do we convince others to join us or do we just do our jobs and never really fully commit to being more than just employees? Those are questions each should answer for themselves, questions only each man can answer for himself.
I am but one man. One brick in the wall. Strong by myself, but unbreakable as part of a whole.
I guess that is all I have to say.
