Here we are again in familiar territory. Jack is seen back at his home 70 miles outside Oklahoma City. On his ranch/farm.
“Welcome everyone to my humble abode. Its been a strange last 6 months. Everyone is moving out to the country now. Well those who can afford it. Houses are popping up everyone. Everyone trying to get out of the city. Trying to avoid getting sick. This global pandemic is straight out of a horror or scifi movie. And things are getting downright scary in some places. Supplies are running dangerously low. Hospitals are filled up to capacity. People are scared and on edge. No where to go. No where to hide. And now they are running for the hills. My closes neighbor used to be 7 miles away. Now we got houses 2 miles away. I know to some of you that might not feel too close but trust me its close enough. And these city folk come up here start messing with the land, they dont know what they are doing, they start getting all sorts of folks working on their homes, making them smart homes, getting satellite and all sorts o contraptions up in there. Same ole same ole in just a new location.
Then to top it off they start having house warming parties, they got 20 or so people in there, so much for social distancing, some people just never learn. Now dont get me wrong. Its ok to live in the country if its for the right reasons. To live off the land, to grow, to plant, to be. But not if its just to make the country more like the city.
Life is quiet up here. And thats just how I like it. Peace and quiet. I bother no one,and no one bothers me.
Speaking of bothers. Seems I have an opponent trying to bother me for my new won hardcore title. You think because you beat Rumpke that makes you something. Brother it makes you nothing. Rumpke is so erratic, one day he can be right on par with Redd and Jude and the next day be like Reaper or some of those. You never know what you will get with Rumpke.
But I aint him. Me, I am a lot different. I am concise and I am steadily good, maybe not great, but trust me in todays world, good goes a hell of a long way. Now I aint one ta put ya too far down. Ya did really great in the Lethal Lottery. But a lot of folks did great and didnt make it to the final. There is great and there is special. And those last two fellas are doing some extra special work.
But now I have to wonder about you Jamo. Can you be consistent? Can ya be good but maybe great? I dont think you can. I dont think you have it in you. I think you won the world title on some fluke. But the flukes are over. Time for you to prove yourself week in and week out and I dont think you have it in you.
You are just like the people moving up here, they do it thinking that they will be safe. But really all they are doing is trading one set of problems for new sets of problems. There are wolves and coyotes up here, all types of snakes. Occasionally a mountain lion. And god knows what else.
My point is there. Nowhere is safe. And you Jamo are definitely not safe in our match and not safe from me. You are in such jeopardy you really dont have any clue do you? But thats alright, we learn from our mistakes and you will learn from yours.
